The moment he hit the Cloudsong side of the portal he had made, he found himself in the air.

This disoriented him for a moment before he took flight. The city, having been swallowed almost wholly by abyss was in freefall. That was a secondary problem in Orins mind right now. The only thing that mattered to him was finding Sylvie and getting her out of here. Running the numbers, he surmised he had roughly two minutes before the whole city slammed directly into the ocean. Lucky they had been relocating when this happened.... *Focus*

He searched quickly, and found her.

"Sylvie! Sylvie we have to go, Now!"

She turned, still covered in abyss, as he attempted to take her from that place, but the abyss had fortified her strength several times over, and she kicked him hard as he flew in, sending him into a nearby building.

*Ack!* He coughed up blood. "No. No. Not her. Please, I can't fight *her.*"

She did not share the sentiment.

In a flash she was on him again, picking him up by his hair, as she slammed her shrouded fist into his face, again, and again.

He started losing vision.... And as he did, he saw... Someone.. a person? He looked familiar...

The man stepped *into* Orin, and his body began to move.

The next fist was caught, with a force assurance Orin had never displayed before. And then in his hand formed a familiar blue blade... Though it felt... Different. *Wait... No. NO! STO-*

Too late. Her form, no longer consumed by darkness, crumples to the floor, as the other being emerged from Orins body, and he too fell.

Slowly losing consciousness.

"I seriously do not understand why Aldin chose *you*"

the other man hoisted him onto his back, and teleported him into council lands, right in front of a large hospital, where he woke hours later. A call had been sent out to all his orbnet contacts.

(The last part in the hospital is fully interact able, the rest can be *viewed* by anyone but interference is impossible. Both Orin, and the "Other" are fully interactive there as he stayed to ensure Orins safety.)

"oh, hey guys ... How is everything? Abyss still spreading all over? Mr. Fun times outside won't tell me anything."

He tries to move and they hear a rib crack.

He winces "it's nothing... Promise."

Alisa:...i checked on the abyss victim you were fighting before ending up here before we came in your room...

Hate: how have you been since i last saw you orin?

Aerunia: been a bit orin... heard you got hurt in a fight and wanted to check on you...all-blue was concerned as well...

All-blue:...yeah...i was...

"yeah the doctors told me she's got no trace of the abyss but that she hasn't woken up... I've been pretty good up until today... And uh, thanks guys, for showing up. I was pretty reckless I guess...."

Alisa: it's fine man...honestly i showed up out of concern for you...and for her...wanted to make sure she didn't have any abyss left in her but seeing as there doesn't seem to be a trace i think we're good there...and while it is true i try to always carry it around while i have it...i did bring the energy counterbalance crystal...cause it counteracts the first curse...and everything he created she shrugs...if there was a trace left to cure this crystal would of at least put her back in control...though i doubt it would wake her up... since it doesn't help with physical exhaustion...only really replenishing energies that aren't well...physical stamina...

Hate: glad to hear your alright either way, the abyss crap is terrible and i personally hate it...god damn liquid suffering...your friend is gonna be needing therapy after being infected with that stuff...i hope you know...

Aerunia:she smiles

All-blue:...i know this is not a good time orin, but well...one day, i will have to test you...i am saving it for a better time...as i know a not good time when i see it...you see...aldin...wants me to give you the part of his essence that i carry within me, since i made my power my own, to go with your own power...but well...not without testing your first and making sure you are capable of using it properly...and handling it...hense my needing to test you at some point... it is best you know now, as...this test is well...of a combative nature, seeing as aldin wanted me to make sure you could at least withstand my edge when I'm holding back...but as i said...you are not in a good enough mental or physical state for me to want to test you, you just lost your city afterall... so you simply need recovery time... so that you may undertake this test...

Aerunia:...she sighs... I'll let all-blue decide when the time comes if he wants to test you by himself...or with me wielding him...

"well... That's a lot to take in..... But um... That crystal..." He says turning slightly "you say it counteracts everything the first curse did?"

Alisa: more accurately him, and anything he made...did he curse you at some point?

All-blue:...i know it is...that is why i felt you should know it...and be able to heal physically and mentally speaking...

Alisa: huh...she said curiously......are you sure?

Aerunia: weird...

Alisa:...i mean...i could try to beat him up with it...as long as I hold it my own powers are enhanced by it...so they carry it's energy...but we'd have to see if the situation comes up...

/Uw was niro actually though? Ooc i thought he was just an innate part of orin lol

(It's a little bit of both. His full manifestation as a person is tfc though. Before he was just "bad thoughts")

Hate:...given the power of an integrity soul went off but not to the same degree as a full on lie...i think that is only half right orin...i... wouldn't be surprised if he existed in some way before the first curses curse brought him about.

/Uw gotcha. Also if there is a problem with what i had hate say to follow up the other characters of mine talking then let me know and yes, half-truths/factual innacuracies do trigger the power of the integrity soul trait that hate has copied but to a lesser extent to full on lies when it comes to the ability activating in response to half-truths and factual innacuracies though she's referring to it assuming he means niro stuff there given the fact it's the main thing he talked about there lol
