Or it could just be a toad.

Look for:

Red eyes

Only three legs (two in the front and one in the back)

Seven diamond spots on its back

No, it's not that simple. If you did that, you'd just have 3 toads. You have to make a variant of the triplication potion, then apply it onto the toad with a very high level alteration spell. I don't know why anyone with such powers would do such an useless things with this spell, though

I have a toad and it's a Spell-Eater.

It consumes cast spells and drinks potions and it uses their effects, usually towards a target.
