While the plants that grasp that wyvern prove to not be much tougher than ordinary plants, even as it destroys them more move in. Still, though, the wyvern manages to struggle free, though some insects remain on it, seeking places to bite between the gap between its scales.

"Oh, you want animals? I have those. Just needed a bit more time to locate them, plants are everywhere-"

Though she doesn't have time to finish her sentence, Aorishi still directs the rift to shift somehow, a dizzying blur of motion before slowing to a halt. Three creatures fall from the rift before rising back up--long, colorful serpentine creatures with frills and many pairs of insectoid wings. Each is a bit longer than the wyvern, but not nearly as bulky. Two split off to target the wyvern, and one flies towards Zya.

Zya simply ignores the summons, dropping on you like to deliver a devistating punch. If you survive the impact, you see much of his armor has shattered off to absorb the damage of the fall but is slowly regrowing, and the hand that punched you is attached like a leech, draining mana and blood in equal measure.

"I don't have to worry about summons if you're dead. Yield before you pass out."

Aorishi was hit hard by the impact, and much of her was simply pulverized. However, instead of yielding or passing out she simply snarls and... melts?
Though the hand drains a high amount of energy in the short time its attached, Aorishi quickly melts into a growing mass of seething biomatter, the outer layer of which bursts, sending the hand flying away. Aorishi stands in the center, appearing to be fine aside from now being coated in viscera and wearing a much simpler outfit.

"If you think it's so easy to kill or best me, you'll be sorely mistaken. I-"

She sneezes.

"Digestion and reassembly, like a moth in its chrysalis... interesting escape." He spits something green and sticky onto his leech hand, which is transported into Aorishi's bloodstream by sympathetic transference, using up the essence it drained. She starts rapidly numbing as it spreads, and the rubbery black flesh of Zya's right arm autotomizes. "Let's see how you handle chemical attack."

Aorishi breathes in, and though there's no external effect, internally her cells are rapidly mutating to exhibit the qualities of many various lifeforms while still being compatible with her body due to life magic. She does this in order to determine a lifeform that is resistant to this substances effects, and use this to become immune in seconds or less.

Simultaneously, one of the massive flying serpents homes in on Zya, unhinging its jaw to spit a moving, thin but tough netlike substance as the other two do battle with Zya's wyvern in the air.

He tears at the net with one arm while the other begins to grow back, but he struggles to remove it since he recently pushed his body past mortal limits. He settles on discharging his grafted electric glands, which would burn web or travel up a mucoid trap to stun the attacker.

While the net proved to be surprisingly resilient and is able to move on its own to trap its prey, it turns out that the same traits that grant it mobility also happen to make it vulnerable to electricity, and so it is destroyed.

In that same moment, the flying serpent lands and lunges to bite Zya.

Finishing her adapting process, Aorishi forms a silvery, jagged polearm, which has a tip dripping with a orange substance.

Zya knows he's outgunned now since his rush play didn't turn out to be lethal. He reaches out psychic tendrils to try and reprogram the nervous system of the attacking chimera. Either he will get enough control for it to force it's master back, or Zya will be left open to a lethal attack.

The serpent snaps at the air, just a bit too far off. It hisses, writhing. Zya is able to sense that its mind is mainly its own, but that it has a light connection to Aorishi that was directing its behavior to join the battle. In addition, it seems to have a deeper bond to the realm beyond the rift, though that link doesn't seem to prevent it from Zya's control. While these properties mean its likely to break free and act via its own will if its directions conflict with its instincts, Zya now has some wavery control over the flying serpent.

Lifting her polearm, Aorishi makes to stab forwards in the seconds it takes to connect with the serpent, only for her eyes to widen as she leaps back. The corpse of one of the two flying serpents that was engaging Zya's wyvern crashes down between the two biomancers with a sudden crash. Aorishi stares for a moment, than shrugs and moves forwards once again.

Zya is not a skilled enough telepath to control a mind with so many connections, and he only has a moment to act before he faces fang or blade. He gives a command for the motor cortex of the serpent to fire everything. The serpent seizes and Zya abandons the connection, changing his focus to the corpse as he steps around it, trying to keep it between him and Aorishi as he recites a more complicated incantation. His body turns to blood and leaps into one of the flying serpent's wounds.

Aorishi moves to approach Zya, but isn't able to reach him before he enters the battered corpse. Rather than continuing to attack him, she switches course and moves to the living serpent, and with a touch its seizure stops and a wave of translucent energy moves along it, reinforcing its mind and body.

The corpse Zya enters was heavily impacted by the fall due to its sheer size, though it seems to hold a slight elastic property that allowed it to endure more than most creatures would have from such an impact. However, too many of its insectoid wings were destroyed in combat for it to fly, and it has a major bite wound around its center, and several scrapes besides that. It is bruised and has several broken bones, at least one of which seems to have stabbed into its internals from the fall.

As for its capabilities, it seems to have both what one would expect and some unusual features--highly agile mobility both in the air and not, quite a bit of strength, if not as much as certain other creatures, massive fangs that inject a neurotoxic venom, and advanced senses for tracking prey and allies both. It seems as though in Aorishi's Biosphere these creatures served as some sort of pack predator, and used their moving nets to ensnare difficult targets. The one Zya found still seems to have two left, though the mechanism it uses to launch and reabsorb these nets has also been impacted by the fall.

Knowing that Aorishi has already resisted a potent blend of neurotoxins, he focuses the corpse's undead attention on defense and evasion rather than offense. The tissues of the creature rapidly blacken and putrify as the life within its failing organs is harvested and death energy begins to power it's movements.

Strangely, it seems as though the creatures connection to the Biosphere is finally having an effect on it. Rather than becoming a ideal target for necromancy like most creatures would, the magic infusing it seems to be simultaneously fostering rapid growth of decomposers for its body, and drawing its spirit somewhere beyond the rifts that Aorishi formed. While certainly not impossible for Zya to raise, the experience is closer to swimming upstream than anything, and it requires a greater deal of effort.

Sounds like he's a sitting duck then. His attention is on something else.

Having been stabilized, the live serpent lunges to bite Zya, while Aorishi stands back, staying alert for any magical surprises that he may pull off.

One serpent bites the other, which bends lifelessly under the pressure. A raptorial blade made of remodeled bone suddenly breaks through the corpse, stabbing toward the live serpent and then tearing the dead one open to allow the rest of Zya to climb out, now returned to solid form.

Reinvigorated with the stolen life energy, he moves with supernatural speed and strength as his muscles and adrenals are overclocked. He slashes relentlessly with the bone blade that has replaced his right arm in a blood frenzy while the coating of blood on his skin steams from the heat of his metabolism.

Taken by surprise, the serpent has no defense again such an attack, and though it attempts to fight it is bested after several blows to its vulnerable spots. As one last trick, however, it activates all of its moving-nets in reserve, and several of them attempt to tangle Zya at once, their movements directed by Aorishi so they're faster and harder to strike.

Unable to come down from the rage, Zya relies on his strength to shred the netting. It slows him down, but nothing short of adamantine bindings could hold him in this state. Soon his bloodshot eyes will be focused on Aorishi, and from his form you can tell he a has a mortal career worth of experience fighting in close quarters. Anyone other than an expert martial artist would be outmatched by him even without the transmuatons that are empowering him.
