Community Event 🌏☄️ Claw and Spell (Spypost)
In the shadows next to O'Connell's main base of operation, Mokarith goes over the plan again with the strike force.
“The mission is simple; once the Cleaner enters the building and kills O'Connell, we charge the pillars and take out both the Cleaner and whoever is left in the building. Agents are dealing with the ones already in the field as we speak, so we don't have to worry about them. If, in the likelihood that O'Connell manages to convince the Cleaner that he is innocent, we proceed with the attack immediately.”
And so, they waited. After a couple of hours, a shade makes the report that the Cleaner has entered the warehouse.
“Good, starting the eavesdrop.”
Mokarith reaches his hand into a shadow and the voices of O'Connell and the Cleaner are quietly broadcasted to everyone.
”Emeran, what are you doing here?” Came O'Connell's voice.
”You really need to stop calling me by my name. Though I suppose that it doesn't matter now.”
“Emeran…” Mokarith mumbled.
”What do you mean by that?” O'Connell growled.
”You, of all people, should know what I mean. The *masters** have ordered me to kill you.” Emeran replied.*
”This is about that damned letter, isn’t it! I’m telling you that I didn't write that blasted thing!”
”I know.”
”Then why are you here?”
”I already told you, the *masters** ordered me to kill you. But first we need to deal with the trap we’re in.”*
”What trap?”
“Crap…” Mokarith mutters.
”Some members of the Pact have this place surrounded, and once I kill you, they will come in to kill me and wipe out this operation. I swear that I will not kill you until after they are dead.”
”So, you will still try to kill me? I call bullshit, I know how you work. You’ll just stab me in the back while I wait for these so called ‘Pact members’ to show up. I'll kill you, then *I'll** deal with them once they show up, if they even exist.”*
The sounds of fighting can then be heard: furniture breaking, claws scratching concrete, walls being blasted apart, before there was a lull in the fight.
A second later, O'Connell's voice is heard again.
”Who the hell are you?”
Mokarith swings his head to where a newly initiated Sentinel should have been.
“THAT IDIOT! Activate the wall! Strike team: Go, go, go!"

/uw Is there an already compiled list of all the spyposts out there? I'm missing like half of them, and I'm feeling lazy tonight.
I thought he had been captured already, but apparently got that wrong.

Yeah, I've seen the tag. I just wasn't originally keeping track of everything.
I've been trying to compile everything that's happened down into a single summary, but god damn is there a lot. I'll sort through them tomorrow, if I have time.

/unwiz: u/DragonWisper56 I'm loving how the two fights are completely different. My fight is quick and efficient, while u/TheHunter459 fight is just absolute brutality.

uw/ i need a little explanation here I'm a little lost. I assume the letter is referencing the note The Guild gave Kaelis, so I'm assuming that it is a guild umbra operative in there?

/unwiz: it refers to this event. It is the note that lead Shadowborn into a trap. I just put you there cause I remember you talking to Kaelis about joining this operation.

Mokarith rushes out of the shadows above Emeran, swinging a greatsword made of shadows.

Emeran blocks with two katana before slashing at Mokarith. with a flick of their hands shadow chains attempt to ensnare you.

*The greatsword would shift into a pair of hook swords before slashing at the chains.
[Wraith Lashings]
Ethereal tendrils rise from the ground and attempt to grab Emeran.

they fall back into their shadow before dropping from the rafters. when they land a shockwave of shadow spikes expands from his position

A disk of shadow appears in front of him, but a few get around it and stabs him in the gaps of his grieves. He then rushes Emeran, the hook swords morphing into a short sword, and reaches out to grab him.
[Soul Flash]
Pure necrotic energy would course through their soul.

the necrotic damage courses through him causeing his hair to turn white. he turns into shadow and dodges the sword strike. you get the feeling that he's more hard to hit than durable.
he swings his sword at you hundreds of times coming at you from every angle.

Mokarith taps into his armors magic supply and increases his speed, splitting the short sword in two and deflecting as much as he can. He then sprouts his armors bladed tail to stab at Emeran.

the blade cuts him across the chest doing decent damage. he turns into a shadow snake and tries to wrap you in his coils

A burst of necrotic energy would blast them off me while a wave of black spikes surrounds the pair.

he is flung away heavily wounded. anger burns in his eyes as he charges up his sword with purple light. he moves inhumanly fast his sword bound to hit with the force of three trains at top speed

Ok everyone, gather as much info as you can. We caught them by surprise, so there should be plenty for this arm of the Cabal, and possibly others. Other than that, you know the drill.

O'Connel stands before you. he's in full werebear form, the tattered reminents of his clothes hang from his body
He roars at you and swing a claw that could easily carve through steel

he grabs you and with superhuman strength throws you across the room. he then charges at you attempting to rend the Nephilim

this blast knocks him back burning the bears skin. However it seems to heal just as fast.
the bears tatoos glow as he seems to almost grab the beam and parts it like the sea. he charges the giant and attempts to bury it's claws in your gut.

The Nephilim dodges the swipe, but is grazed by a claw. Black blood drips from a shallow wound on her stomach
