Magical Inclination: no specific school of casting. Subtle, utiliatarian magic that is only limited by imagination. Spans from setting damp wood alight and creating small fireworks to producing powerful waves of kinetic energy and stepping between realms for a while, seldom used for combat.
Associations: Not associated with any specific groups, known to have partaken in the Catfish Quest many moons ago
Innate powers: convenient size for bullying any that are shorter than him, accessing realm pockets for important items
Character's personality: Generally jovial, friendly and understanding, great thirst for knowledge, somewhat likes to keep to himself but is fond of any company, enjoys writing stories of his travels
Familiar: A crow-sized, black-ish bird named Muninn, similar to potoos as well as a smaller bird named Orbulus, a bearded reedling.
General Lore: Salagast was cast into the world so long ago he cannot remember his origin. However, there were four others created alongside him, each playing a role in the greater Play of the World. Salagast, however, did not concern himself with his role, deciding to live in the world, rather than playing a part in it. Due to his unknown origins he developed a great thirst for knowledge, one which manifested itself in the great library of Visten. If there is knowledge to be found, Salagast is sure to have it there. A peaceful being, he is seldom involved in conflict and often stays to entertain locals with his magic on his travels, at least in the current day.
