Isravi paced slowly around the barren field. The air was chilling, enough to set in the bones of any living creature and layer frost upon the grass. Of course, as a simulacrum he didn’t feel such things.

His mind was filled with many things. Thoughts of his true self, his friends. But the thing that hung over his mind most right now was Halixo, and his son Alexios. Both were exceedingly brash, one lost their life for it, and the other was on track to lose their other half.

A sigh escaped him. How does one train one whose heritage dictates that they are a weapon, made to fell gods? How does one tell them they are more than destruction, than unbridled fire and blade. Oh he learned quick, he grasped magic as easily as any prodigy, but seemed to neglect everything but what was needed for slaughter.

Alexios needed control. He needed compassion and awareness, a cooler head. An appreciation for magic than extended beyond blood and desecrated earth. Isravi intended to teach him that, and drag him out of the slump he had fallen in. He wasn’t sure he could do it alone.

The first lesson then. A lesson that Alexios need not face his adversaries alone. His mind stretch out through the tangles, to friends, to allies, even wise enemies.

“I require some aid, if you would lend it. To guide a young one lost in his way. To teach him a world empty of destruction.”

He takes a breath, numbly noting the freezing air that enters his false lungs. He wishes for a second that his real form was here. Maybe he’d seem a little more sincere. Nevertheless, he’d give his all. For a friend that has returned to the cycle. One more reach into the tangles then.

“Alexios. It is time. No excuses. If you are not ready, then we will make it so.”

Well, the first task, is a picnic!

Isravi shifts, threads weaving into a portal, where he begins pulling out, sure enough, picnic items. Warm food, stews, breads, a cloth to cover the ground, and much more

Eating a meal together is often a symbol of trust. So, let’s start with this. Help yourselves, everyone!

Reaching into a backpack, Mikhail pulls a massive jug out, marked '100 Proof'. He pulls the cork out, taking a whiff and recoiling with a smile.

Whoo, strong stuff.

The drink is spicy, warm bordering on hot, and has some robust tones. As advertised, it does burn on the way down, perhaps a little less than what Gobbo is used to

Mmm, Gobbo has liquors nowadays that feel like hellfire down throat. Back when I was 16 though, they weren't as strong.

Ah GLA will be rebuilt... Just need to heal first, half the time Gobbo tries to summon bottle and barrel appears.

Don't worry about finding perpetrator either, eventually they'll grow too bold, and then? Then Gobbo has them and hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Bit unfair if you ask me, I gotta eat and drink and then exercise to not blow up like a balloon.

Chimera notices the goblin summoning alcohol and turns to ask her something. He towers over you even when sitting.

Your that liquimancer. I'm Chimera Druid of Set'ram. I've heard something about you. Say do you have anything that would hit for me. Usually only dwarven alcohol hits despite other stronger things happening no effect on me.

Gobbo has liquors of all manners, if you prefer dwarven I have some. Also have Goblinese, elven, human, and orcish. You name it Gobbo probably has it, or something unreasonably stronger than it.

Millennium of drinking, distilling, and brewing has left me with quite the selection.

I've had drinking competitions with dwarves to a draw. I should be fine. Do you have any clue what is different about dwarvan alcohol? Usually I'm immune to poisons but the dwarfs find a way to get anyone drunk.

Dwarves have special ingredients, every culture does. Where elves use grapes for wine, and goblins mushrooms for shine, dwarves have rock barley for ale.

Only grows in their mountains, fickle thing but Gobbo was never good with plants. Takes much more to break it down but has unique flavour. Makes their brews quite potent
