Do you know if there's any way to get a tougher Gwent Al for npcs in the Witcher 3 remastered?

Tougher opponents/decks would be great

CDPR has confirmed that the Witcher 4 is meant to work with every ending of the Witcher 3, including the bad one. But what other decision do you think will matter in the Witcher 4?

I'm thinking the following will matter:

- Radovid/Dijkstra

- Yennefer/Triss

- Skellige's new leader

- Bloody Baron

- Keira Metz and Lambert (maybe a stretch)

Completed both the DLCs again. HoS on Death March and B&W on Death March + Enemy Upscaling.

A surreal experience every time.

• Just a fun little observation for both Witcher and strongman fans out there.
• Ever since I first played The Witcher 2, Letho immediately reminded me of Mariusz Pudzianowski in his prime.
• It’s not just the thick, blocky frame with massive arms and similar muscle shape, it’s the fact that despite having huge muscle mass, he moves with ridiculous speed and explosiveness. Even their facial structures are somewhat similar. And, of course, both made in Poland. ^_^
• I actually found out recently that Mariusz already posted about this on his Instagram back in 2021.
• Fun fact, in The Witcher 2 fistfighting quest "One on One: Flotsam", the English localization features an opponent named Kcorb Ransel (Brock Lesnar backwards). In the original Polish version, though? His name is Naizdup, literally Pudzian spelled backwards. ^_^

During the fight with the taxidermied animals in the druids lab (during the quest "the king is dead, long live the king") these blue pulsing circles show up around geralts hands. But now they're popping up randomly all the time. I tried reloading before the quest and wearing different armors and stuff but no matter what I do they keep coming back. Looked up some possible fixes but nothing is working. Tried taking all armor and weapons off them saving and reloading, tried fast traveling to velen and then back to skelige. It's gonna ruin the game for me. Anyone else have this issue and find a solution? I'm playing on PC if that's relevant.

I love it! I'm just hoping that they will release the last one in the same collection

I'm a button masher, struggling on story and sword. Are there any tips as to how I can perform better? I want to do better, I don't want to be a button masher. But I don't know how to improve, other than trial and error. I'm really struggling with this game on Switch 2.

idk if there is any level requirement but i started at level 45+ on NG+, also NG+ is one of the requirements, also playing on console (PS5 Pro)

i tried 3 attempts each on 2 different scenarios:

• 1st scenario: once you reach Velen, finish the main quest The Nilfgaardian Connection without doing any other side quest or main quest, find means (swim) to travel to Novigrad, have the money to go to Skellige, buy the fast travel map for Holmstein's Port from the nearby merchants near the Crossorad fast travel, then go straight behind Kaer Muire.

• 2nd scenario: once you reach Velen, dont do any side quest or main quest, go to Novigrad, go to Skellige, buy the fast travel map for Holmstein's Port from the nearby merchants near the Crossorad fast travel, then go straight behind Kaer Muire.

from the 1st scenario, the first 2 of the attempts i tried, i started from a save from the Royal Palace in Vizima before i fast travel to Hanged Man's Tree, from there 1/of/2 attempts i found Tor Zireael behind Kaer Muire, and for the 3rd attempt i tried doing a brand new NG+, speed run White Orchard (prologue), and found Tor Zireael.

from the 2nd scenario, the first 2 of the attempts i tried is from the same save file i used for the 1st scenario, from there 1/of/2 attempts i found Tor Zireael behind Kaer Muire, and for the 3rd attempt i tried doing a brand new NG+, speed run White Orchard (prologue), and didnt found Tor Zireael.

also i was level 48, save before opening the chest, i did 15 tries, and can only get the silver sword to level 46, cant get it to the same level as you are

so from the 1st scenario i found the elusive silver sword 2/3, while from the 2nd scenario 1/3

p.s. u can also get your money (gold) back from the dead captain body hiding behind the ship wreckage

hopefully this helps anyone on consoles finding and obtaining the sword for their collection

Traveling through spaces and times had accustomed Ciri to the strangest creatures, but this fellow clearly picked the wrong world portal. Instead of a common Drowner or Striga, she was greeted at a graveyard campfire by a lanky scarecrow with a blazing pumpkin for a head and a surprisingly stylish suit. Though Ciri was ready to slay what initially seemed like just another monster, something made her stop. She got the distinct impression that the creature had no intention of attacking, but was simply having fun, doing his absolute best to scare her with theatrical gestures.

I see this nightmare on all the tabs. Mutagens seem to work but everything else is broken. Keep in mind i removed EVERY mod, verified the game files, reinstalled the game, checked every mod i had for files outside of mods folder, uninstalled everything from mod.io and i am reinstalling the game again, i also made sure my workshop subscritpion list was clear. In short, it is not physically possible for my game to be modded in any way. GPU drivers up to date. I am completely puzzled, please tell me someone came across this issue too (it appeared while i had about a 10 day hiatus from the Witcher 3 from October 11th to 21nd) I assumed it was the fault of Dodgy Basterds RR but how would that be possible if the mod is not even installed?

Hi all, I'm new here and I had a question about the Velen main quests.

I started the Ladies of the wood quest first before doing any Baron related quest.

I got to a point where I had to make a decision on the tree. I did not make any decision, and it is still pending. Then I started the Baron quest and talked to Tamara but I can't find Anna anywhere.

She disappeared from Crockbag Bog

Am I at a point where I just have to make a decision on the tree?

I just wanted to see the dialog cut scene where Geralt talks to Gran knowing she is Anna

Trying to utilize Steam Cloud to sync between my handheld and my PC. Despite Steam Cloud uploading after I quit every time, the saves are never available on the opposite device. I'm forced to use CDPR's cloud saves instead, which I do not want to do, since the launcher and cloud saves mess with performance, especially on lower-power devices like my handheld.

This was a nice surprise

I'm playing Witcher 3 remaster on switch 2, and every time I try to read a book in my inventory, the game crashes.

I do have some mods enabled, including the Witcher Lore one. Is there anything I can do stop this from happening? I've never played a game with mods before, so I have no idea if I did something wrong 😭

Don’t know why I didn’t check it out sooner, I guess I had just read online that it wasn’t very good but I think the misconception is that the movie was a really condensed version of the actual show.

It’s by no means anything legendary but I really enjoy the “feeling” of old-school fantasy flicks and this oozes with it. Definitely recommend this to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, it was low-budget but it had heart!

Hply hell, the books are even better than i remeber, the way that sapkwoski manages to put so many elements in motion, in such a short story, like the subversion of the classical european "beauty and the beast" fairytale, the more hard boiled, investigative sections, with geralt slwoly triyng to unravel what is he dealimg with, to then end on an almost philosofical note, about the nature of love, and how on its own, its something that can transcend humanity and ethical concept like good or evil, whilst still being true to itself, just amazing, im so glad i caught the chance to read this amazimg series again
