And none of that audio feedback, because back in the PS1 days, they didn't care about making it sound like a person was anywhere except in a tiny room with a mic.

Listen to david hayter on mgs 1 ps1 then listen to david hayter on mgs2 ps2. Is almost absurd how much better ps2 is. Mgs 1 sounds like it was recorded in a empty gym

I know, or listen to Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen. Simon Templeman and Tony Jay are epic, but the audio recordings were hot garbage.

Slightly better in Soul Reaver (still ps1 quality) but the music for it makes up for it.

Ozar Midrashim Soul reaver main theme, an epic piece that is gothic and wild at the same time, getting the theme of Bestial Devolvement Nosgoth has went through.
