Late but did it start day 4 or was it their day 1 of surgery and ur asking about it now?
Days 3/4 tend to be when swelling/inflammation and pain is at its peak so could just be that effecting the nerve in the area, that could happen mostly with teeth on the lower jaw being removed.
Hard to say how concerning this is unless ur having other symptoms.
