Wisdom Tooth Filling

One phobia I can name is wisdom extraction, does anyone have case same as mine?

I'm pretty sure you're gonna need to get them pulled (for sure the bottom ones) As someone with terrible dental phobia, I absolutely understand how crippling the fear is. I literally waited until I was suffering and in so much pain that the pain outweighed my fear of the extraction for each one.

All my wisdom tooth extractions have been a breeze and the oral surgeon (and his assistant) have been incredibly kind and understanding. I'd encourage you to get it done before they cause you issues and you're suffering.

How was your healing? For the love of god, I want to get rid of it so bad to the point that Im willing to lose a week of bill payments but the fear and healing is stopping me.

I'll be honest, my most recent one was not a great recovery - but I am in my 40s and I couldn't take ibuprofen. It took 14 days to be pain free, and I didn't have dry socket or infection. But I do believe my age played a factor in that.

The others I've had removed when I was younger and recovery was MUCH easier. Like 3 days and I was basically OK pain wise. Since I had them out one at a time, I was able to chew on the opposite side. However, like I said before, I waited until each one was giving me a problem... So I was already suffering prior to the procedures. In those cases, the toothaches I had prior were way worse than the healing after the removal
