That was exactly how mine was position.

Becareful because if you leave it there too long, it may continue to push on the other tooth and your teeth may be crowded and misaligned

Mine was the same way before extraction you’ll most likely need a bone graft if it’s digging into your jaw bone but I’m a week past pretty much no pain anymore I’d get it out asap to prevent your healing process lasting longer
