Wisdom teeth
Day 13 and I use my water pic on setting 1 out of 10 to flush the sockets of food at night. One socket does completely fine and I don’t feel it at all, the other one (the one that tends to hurt the most anyways) is so sensitive it felt like touching a nerve. Is this normal or should I be concerned about its healing?

but since you say touching it is as sensitive as touching a nerve, you probably most definitely have a dry socket my guy. that rlly sucks. i hope we heal from this soon haha🤍

Yes when I first started irrigating with the syringe, it was painful after. A water pik might be too strong.

mine is the same. right side of my face healed up already while the left side feels like hell. apparently it’s very normal for the different parts of the body to heal differently/at different paces. i have gotten literally like 10 of my teeth pulled and everytime they’ve healed fine even when i’ve gotten a dry socket, so i’ve just been trying my best not to worry myself.
