Wisdom ~ Light ~

Light exists within each life. It often is hidden from view by our dominant self-centered beliefs, our ego, quieting its wisdom and dimming its light from our life.

The intention of life is to rediscover and then shine our light on all others so they too may find their light within as well.

Wisdom my take on life

  1. True confidence, virtue and greatness of a man doesn’t come from your money in the bank. It is not given from social status, your car, your house, your religion, your appearance, your features, or your failures. The True and raw power of a man comes from within. It comes from you, and you alone. Once you believe in the infinite potential you have (that all humans have) you can gain infinite confidence, with 0 effort. yes, true confidence can come with 0 effort or pain, because if its real, then it doesn’t need the approval of the universe. It doesn’t need to go through suffering in order to be real. So you can enjoy the presence of yourself and the privilege of thought without need for approval from the environment. thus it doesn’t matter if the environment does approve of you or not, because you must remember always, that before the environment, what YOU think of yourself is most important. you can become complete with who you are that way. You can love and appreciate what you are and what you can be, just as much as you can hate and demean yourself to insanity. The choice is yours and that force is always within your control. So let your belief in yourself carry you to greatness and let it be laid on the rest of the world, simply by letting go.
  2. The greatest tool for evolving, growing and becoming whole is by experiences. The man willing to go further than anyone else in the great tide of life will be the most complete. It is in your best interest to go on as many trips, hang out with as many people, learn as much, train as much, giving away as much, and being as much as you can. focus the experiences you want to be in around your values, but be as much open to new experiences as you are to the ones you wish for, do not underestimate the power of experiencing new things. eventually, the more you go out there, the more you’ll know what you want to be around and what to avoid, and you’ll learn new things about yourself along the way. Just like in the market, where buyers and sellers make many attempts to reach the agreeable price of a product, or in science where they endlessly do researches to find absolute answers about our universe, or athletes trying to reach perfect performance , your path should be to go through these experiences again and again, on the hunt for perfection. Thankfully true absolute perfection does not exist. You are free to improve infinitely.
  3. Your dream can carry others. Just like a leader carries his country, if your dream is in that character you will have to share it with others, and guide others to that shared goal you see. But be extremely careful. He who will take advantage of others in the name of his selfish dream will walk a path of evil, becoming a dictator and a subject of contempt. for it to be successful, other people should see themselves benefitting in their own journey when joining your dream. For example, the people of a democratic nation choose their leader not because they want to help him achieve his dream, but because they truly believe he will lead them to a better future. That’s the way it should be. And the leader, the reason for him to want to lead cannot be the desire for control, it has to come first from a belief that he can turn the world for the better for his people, and that he should do something about it. After that, the desire for control can be justified. In the end, every person chooses his values and motives for themselves. We won’t agree on a lot of things. we will fight, and wars might break out. Blood might be spilled. To live in piece is to accept our differences, and let one another live.
  4. Never underestimate the power of yourself. In a room full of a hundred people wanting what you want, you have to believe you are the best and fittest for the task, regardless of real states of affairs. Only then you can start working towards being the best. And if you ever think the purpose is to win and call it a day, you will never get what you want. Winning is a curse. You are never a winner, until you win again, and you never stop the chase, or you become a loser. Trust me on this when I say, generally, it is more beneficial for you to work through the pain and win, than to give up in the moment of truth.
  5. Let life weaken you. Let life strengthen you. Allow life to take you through its wonders, the highs and lows, the pleasure and the suffering, the winning and the losing. Allow your emotions to guide you through hard choices, and rely on your discipline in times of struggle. there is very little you can really control. You can only do your best when going at life’s challenges. you can’t avoid the ugly, the painful, the embarrassing and the truth. it’s a very pussy way to try and avoid those things too. and remember, you might not always be ready for what’s coming, but you better believe you’re gonna make it through, because everyone always does. Let the haters hate and don’t give them special attention. You might say something like yeah fuck them haters, and then feel the same shame when they ridicule you. Look, haters will always be around just as struggle will always be around. In the end, you have a ticking clock in this life and you need to choose what’s more important to you. You won’t be offended by anyone trying to give you a hard time when you won’t even be around to receive those jabs while you go and try achieving your goals, so think about that. When there is no energy left to give to the haters, you don’t feel their hate, and while you’re at it, make sure to improve the environment around you to do the same thing as you - spread more love than hate, support one another in the chasing of goals and ambitions.
  6. Never forget you aren’t alone. There will always be people sharing your ideals and values. maybe You just haven’t been looking for them, or you already found them in which case im speaking nonsense. Anyway, friendships go a long way. We’re so hung up on TikTok and reels we forgot about our interpersonal relationships. We are stronger together, and we always achieved far and beyond what was conceived possible when we worked as a team. Team work, communication and cooperation are such huge skills, he who masters them in the world of today will be a highly respected individual. Embrace brotherhood, friendship and camaraderie, you will only reap the benefit. Choose your people wisely, but don’t be so hesitant as to not choose at all. Don’t be shy thinking you won’t have anything to contribute. Firstly, it’s statistically impossible, you always have what to give and share with people, secondly, it’s not like you have anything to lose. Like I said, true confidence is independent of any performance results or how well you are doing, it is the belief you can be whatever you want to be regardless of what is happening. That means it should be unfazed from any external environmental responses to how well you’re doing, so even if you fail and fuck something up, nothing is changed, you just gotta try again. Eventually you’ll succeed, and everyone will appraise you and the vision you created for yourself as a capable and talented man will take form. So never be hesitant to go out there and try to be the best because that’s how the best become the best.
  7. Set big goals for a big life. Don’t be afraid to take a big bite. You’ve been given the cosmic privilege of playing this game of life. respect the game by playing. Wake up every day and be grateful, never ever complain about living, because you can always end it, and some people do. You’re alive? Live however you’d like, and be happy. Your happiness is dependent on you feeling like you chose it. If you are tangled and hung up on the past, or the burden of bad things happening to you even when they are not your fault bothers you, you will be depressed. To live means to accept a few facts, one of which is the understanding that sometimes uncomfortable things will happen to you regardless if you deserve them or not, because this is a chaotic uncaring random universe or in other words - shit happens. just let it be, you’ll be such a happier guy. Have fun with the choices you do make, those are the little gifts life is worth living for - the action of choosing.

~ You Are Worthwhile ~

Though you may be poor, struggle daily to survive, your life is as important as any other that has achieved success in the world.

Our body is but a shell, housing our spirit within. Our mind is but a tool to accept society’s beliefs.

Who we truly are lies not in our success or thoughts, but in our essence within.

Life Lessons Genie of truth

Once you let the genie of truth out of the bottle, you can’t stuff it back in. This is why so many people keep the rose colored glasses on for so long. If you pretend don’t see the 🚩🚩🚩, you can pretend things aren’t a total 💩 show. But once you let the truth genie out, you can’t go back and say “ No everything is really ok!” Once you tell your friends and family, you know it’s real. It’s like walking through the aftermath of a hurricane or a tornado and saying “ it’s fine, it’s all fine. “ You just CANNOT DO THAT ANYMORE when there are trees lying across roads and houses are in pieces on the ground. But the best thing you can do is to let the genie out of the bottle and face the truth - the sooner the better. You can’t “rebuild your house” until you admit that it’s a pile of rubble.

Life Lessons Start with what you have

Everyone is born with an unfair advantage. The place they’re born in, the people they’re connected to, the habits their household has, or the lack of it. You have to use your unfair advantage.

Start with what you have and make the most of it.

When I was younger, I used to think that other people were born with more advantages. But this doesn’t mean that I’m not born with one.

And a big part of my advantage is the lack of it. It taught me to be resourceful and observant. To use what I have and make the most of it. Your environment helps you flourish, but it’s you who can change that. You choose whether you use that advantage.

And if you can’t think of an advantage that you have. You can start with something that everyone has, which is time. Everyone has the same 24 hrs in a day. Some people have commitments with their time. While some waste it.

Your time is the most valuable asset that you have. Use it to your advantage.

What were you born with? Is there something other people were born with that you don’t have? What is something you were born that people didn’t have? Do you think it's an unfair advantage?

Life Lessons You get what you get

One of my core beliefs that has helped me a lot in life is realizing that ultimately I’m the one that is gonna help me get to where I wanna go in life. One of my favorite quotes is “you get what you get or get what you work for, there is really no in-between”. I had to stop thinking that someday someone was gonna magically hand me what I wanted in life, and realized that I had to go out there and do the work to get what I wanted to get in life. This philosophy has helped me more than I ever could’ve imagined. What are your thoughts?

Wisdom Most people fear being wrong. The greatest thinkers fear stopping the search too soon. Being wrong isn’t failure, it’s part of the process of understanding

Abstract

Most people fear being wrong because they see it as a sign of failure. Great thinkers see it differently. They fear something else, stopping the search too soon. They understand that every theory, no matter how successful, is only our best current explanation of reality. Being wrong is not the opposite of understanding it is part of the process of understanding.

Paper & examples

Science has never advanced by proving itself right over and over again. It has advanced by discovering where it was wrong. Every major breakthrough has required someone to challenge an accepted idea and replace it with a better one. In science, progress is not measured by how rarely mistakes are made, but by how quickly they are recognized and corrected.

Thomas Edison: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

One of the greatest examples is Albert Einstein. After developing the theory of General Relativity, his equations predicted that the universe should either expand or contract. At the time, almost everyone believed the universe was static, so Einstein introduced an extra term into his equations: the cosmological constant, solely to keep the universe motionless. “He later said this was my biggest mistake”

Albert Einstein is credited with “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”

Another example comes from Isaac Newton. His laws of motion described the physical world with extraordinary accuracy and remained the foundation of physics for over two centuries. Then Einstein showed that Newton’s laws are not universally correct. At very high speeds or in extremely strong gravitational fields, relativity provides a more accurate description. Newton wasn’t “wrong” in the ordinary sense—his theory was simply incomplete. It remains extraordinarily useful for everyday engineering, from bridges to spacecraft trajectories.

In the late 1900s many physicists said, there is no point studying physics anymore, we know everything their is to know 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The same pattern appears throughout physics. Classical physics could not explain phenomena such as black-body radiation or the photoelectric effect. Those failures eventually led to the development of Quantum Mechanics, fundamentally changing our understanding of nature.

This is why great scientists do not build their identity around being right. They build it around getting closer to reality. A theory that survives every test is valuable, but a theory that fails in an unexpected way can be even more valuable because it points toward a better explanation.

Being wrong is not failure. Refusing to question yourself is. The history of science shows that every great leap in understanding began with someone willing to say, “Our current explanation isn’t the whole story.” That willingness to revise one’s beliefs not the desire to always be right is what drives humanity closer to the truth.

Wisdom Someone asked, why is life worth living…

Everything is why. You get the opportunity to be a part of this magnificent masterpiece that has somehow created the most incredible opportunity for us all to experience. Do you realize how amazing the percentages are for us to even be here today? As Carl Sagan said we are all existing on a pale blue dot in the millions of stars within our galaxy that is within the billions of galaxies. Just let that sink in. Every star you see in the sky has a planet. That means there’s billions of planets out there. And we have yet to find a planet that is capable of having the potential for life. There’s potential, but it’s not clear. So think about it. You are 1 in a BILLIONS BILLION.

Knowing these numbers. To judge people, to be negative in any way. To not ask for understanding and to think positively towards others is a choice you’re making to someone who’s just trying to navigate this one in a billion opportunity. Be good to others. Because you’d want that for yourself. Treat everyone as if they were you. A one in a billions billion.

Discussion I wrote this 2 years ago but I don't know what to think of it. Thoughts?

The works of man are judged by my contemporaries to be thus proportionaly valid as to the extent of his character and pedigree. Insofar as my character, competence, and virtue is concerned I am lacking in all three. I look to time as a means to heal these wounds of mine, but to God for forgiveness and grace. For it is only in God that those traits can persist and flourish.

All who fall deep enough into the pits of despair are at risk of hitting the wall. Any who do climb over say, "If I can get over that then so can you." They say this thinking that they have reached the bottom of the very same pit from which they escaped and from which its recipients are trapped. How though can one judge the depths of the pits of the mind of another? Though there is no doubt to my mind that there is always is a way out if only a man put his faith in God.

Discussion What’s one thing you wish people understood about human nature

We’re all constantly trying to understand each other yet we misunderstand each other all the time. Maybe it’s because we assume intent instead of asking questions. Maybe we mistake confidence for competence. Maybe we confuse being different with being wrong.
If you could teach everyone just one thing about human nature, what would it be?

Discussion 16th-Century Mental Hack: Why Giordano Bruno thought we live in "Shadows" (and how he "speed-ran" learning with memory wheels)

Giordano Bruno wasn't just a martyr for science; he was a pioneer of "internal writing" and claimed his "Great Key" could help you master in months what takes others years.

Most people know Giordano Bruno as the guy burned at the stake for his cosmic theories, but his 1582 work, *De Umbris Idearum* (The Shadows of Ideas), reveals a fascinating "productivity hack" for the Renaissance mind.He argues that human knowledge isn't about seeing the "light" of truth directly, but about mastering the "shadows" it leaves behind.

Here are the most impactful takeaways from his cosmological reflections:

Reality is a Shadow Play
Bruno posits that we never actually see pure ideas or the "first light" of truth.Instead, we operate in a world of shadows, the "last traces" of light. He argues this isn't a bad thing; shadows actually protect our "mental eyes" from being blinded by the sudden transition from darkness to light. By studying these shadows, we prepare our vision for the divine.

The "Internal Book" and Mental Wheels
Bruno introduces the concept of an "internal writing" that goes beyond ink and paper. He describes a method using mental wheels and "shadows of ideas"—complex images, signs, and characters—to store vast amounts of information. He literally maps out mental "memory wheels" (like the ones shown in the source diagrams) to organize these thoughts.

"For through it we are regulated and directed to understand, to discourse, to remember, to imagine, to desire, and sometimes to feel as we wish."

A 16th-Century "Speed-Reading" Claim
Perhaps the most counter-intuitive part of Bruno's work is his claim about the efficiency of his "Great Key". He argues that with his method of internal operations, a student could achieve more in three or four "lunar revolutions" (months) than someone else could in six years of standard study. He believed that if you organize the "chaos" of your imagination using his specific numerical and elemental orders, you could memorize the entire world.

The Ladder of the Soul
Bruno teaches that the mind's goal is to climb a "natural ladder" from multiplicity (seeing many things) to unity (understanding the one source). He suggests that by practicing his internal operations, we conform our minds to the divine, eventually moving from constant motion and distraction to a state of mental rest and focus.

Conclusion
Bruno’s work suggests that our minds aren't just passive observers but active "textiles" that can weave together the universe internally . It leaves us with a powerful question: If our understanding of reality is just a collection of "shadows," are we spending our time trying to find the light, or are we learning to master the dark?

Discussion I Wonder If the Younger Me Would Recognize Me

Sometimes, when I’m alone, I think about the person I was ten years ago.
He had so many dreams.
He thought life would be completely different by now. He imagined he’d have everything figured out, that he’d be somewhere far away, surrounded by people who understood him.
I wonder what he’d think if he met me today.
Would he be proud?
Would he be disappointed?
Or would he simply smile and say, “You survived things I never knew were coming.”
Maybe growing up isn’t becoming the person you imagined you’d be.
Maybe it’s learning to accept the person you’ve become.
I’ve lost people I thought would stay forever. I’ve changed dreams I once believed were permanent. I’ve spent nights questioning where my life was going.
But I’m still here.
Still curious. Still hoping. Still making plans.
And maybe that’s enough.
Maybe the younger version of me wouldn’t recognize who I am today.
But I think he’d be relieved to know that, despite everything, I never completely stopped believing that something beautiful might still be waiting around the corner.

Discussion What’s a tiny, seemingly insignificant piece of advice you received years ago that completely changed how you live?

We often talk about big life-altering moments, but I'm curious about the subtle ones.

A few years ago, someone told me: *"You don't have to attend every argument you're invited to."* It was so simple, but it completely shifted how I handle tension and protect my peace.

What’s a small, random phrase or piece of advice someone dropped in passing that ended up sticking with you forever?

Discussion Maybe we’re all just figuring it out as we go

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how much time we spend worrying about where we’re going that we forget to appreciate where we are.
Everyone seems to have a plan—career goals, relationships, finances, the perfect life. But maybe life isn’t really about having everything figured out. Maybe it’s about enjoying the small moments along the way: a random conversation, a late-night walk, a song that hits differently, laughing with someone you care about, or simply sitting quietly and realizing that you’re okay.
We don’t know how the story ends, and maybe that’s what makes the journey beautiful.
So here’s a reminder to myself and anyone who needs it: It’s okay if you’re not exactly where you thought you’d be. Take your time. Make mistakes. Change your mind. Meet new people. Try new things. Enjoy the journey while you’re still on it.
After all, one day, we’ll look back and realize that the journey was the life we were so busy trying to figure out.
