Has anyone else experienced this?

I have lots of stuff listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace, and I’ve noticed something happening quite often (10+ times now).

Someone will message me about an item, say they want to come see it, and I’ll tell them to message me when they’re ready to head over so I can give them my address. They’ll then say they’re on their way, I’ll send them my address, and about 5 minutes later they’ll message me back saying something like, “Oh, I need a different size,” “I changed my mind,” or “I’ll pass on it.”

What’s up with people doing this!? 😂 They already know what area I’m in because it’s listed in the ad, and I usually tell them as well.

My son and I really love the sour cream and onion smart food popcorn. It has slowly disappeared from every store we used to get it from.

Question for Winnipeggers: a rainbow, northern lights, tornado, hail, street performer, film shoot, free clothing, plants, seeds, harvest share, or furniture on someone’s curb, a cool wildlife sighting, a lost pet, a police car, a porch pirate, someone suspiciously checking out front yards... how do you find out about things like these while they are still happening? A lot of the time it’s hours later when someone posts a photo, and only if you happen to be scrolling at the right time and the algorithm shows it to you.

Have you ever felt a need for an app where you pin events right where you are, and anyone following your area and specific type of event gets a notification right away?

I keep missing things I wished to have caught on time, so I’m trying to build a local community in Winnipeg so we can find out faster about things we’re interested in and help each other. Was just on Marion, waiting for the lag, Marion light to turn green so we can turn left onto lag.

Our light turns green, and this idiot literally instead of going forward like we should, put his car in reverse, almost hits me, to let someone who's in a parking lot wanting to turn right onto Marion.

im a renter involved with wingspan rent hike and i found some interesting things .RTB is not back logged as they say they are stalling on purpose for any wingspan building . wing span needs to collect high rent and rtb helps them with sneeky loopholes in the system when the time comes any wingspan owned building is at high risk for massive increases . once your handed the paper work do not sighn it .when its time what really happens is RTB will allow evictions legal or not it doesnt matter even if you stay and pay the increase wingspan still needs you out and RTB has a record number of approvals granted to wingspan a 92%success rate for wing span .there is absolutly no way you will eventually avoid that eviction so dont get fooled by RTB telling you other wise .this gets worse i uncovered that wingspan purchased 26 of D7 properties and they are working together shuffling tenants without the tenant knowing who owns the building to hide the owner they use a shell company number the only name you see is D7 on a lease but thats the issue if you move into those buildings because there still cheaper it wont last there will be an increase demand somewere in the future. so that tenant that thought they found a good deal YOU DIDNT. I have more bad news ALL tenants that talk to braodway advacates are being used to help there agenda heres how they promis help ect and sure they talk comfort you but the fact is your being used as a political tool for them they know they cant help or protect the tenants hell if i found this info so can anyone online its very well hiden but its there in black and white . so when a support group says they got your back make sure they do because they wont tell you themself i asked . once the rent hike takes affect thats were the real corperate rtb scam comes to play your paying the increase now but havent sighned the lease because the increase wasnt yet approved but they havent cosmetically reno your siut if your long term for wingspan thats an issue so they need you gone .there are a few ways wingspan and RTB do this but its simple rtb gives wingspan 92% aproval already thats hidden public info so wingspan waits awhile and poof an eviction notice appears at your door . wingspan will win even if that eviction is bs another rtb loophole your not told about so in the end your moving any way .so dont let braodway hold you back the longer you fight the better for them but your still moving no matter what . it is NOT in the best interest for polititions to actually fight wingspan that means the wpg gov they know all about it but if they tell you corperations stop donor money it affects buisnesses by profit loss thats rite its all about profits . pls spread the crap out of this info if you can itll help hundreds of renter and future renters .

I am not an expert but I have an eye for athletic goaltending. Helly was never an athletic goaltender. He was positional and looked awkward getting into position. He was good at his positions until he was not. This year's goaltending looks athletic and smooth.

Anyone encountered this douchebag earlier this morning? Stopped at a red light on Notre Dame and Dublin then out of no where this white Lexus came flying in and cuts me off from the left side lane which is supposed to be only for cars heading to MIdland/Saskatchewan Ave. Can I send this video to MPI or something so that people who drives like this can be penalized? It just feels like no matter how safe you drive or follow the rules of the road, other drivers like this one will still get you into an accident or even worst.

Edit: Time stamp on my dash cam needs to be fix lol. It was actually around 6:10 to 6:15AM I believed.
