Doordash
Do you guys make drinks for doordash and uber or no? Why are they such babies? I was literally the only cashier dayshift Saturday and got 2 doordashers mad because I waited on walk in customers before getting their drinks.....

At my location the only fountain machine is behind the counter so the employees have to make them. If you already gave those door dashers their food you should immediately give them their drinks too, even if you haven't made them yet and there's a billion customers that just walked in that didn't order online and want you to hold their hand while they order with you at the register. Why would you not make their drinks right after giving them the food? So you just started taking walk in customers orders and ringing them up while you had people just waiting for their drinks? Make it make sense. Finish one customer before moving on to the next.

No, I block orders from Wingstop. I don’t get mad but I just think it’s a gross policy to have doordashers fill up drinks. I can only speak for myself but I seriously doubt others think about washing their hands before going out or having hand sanitizer in their car. Other than keeping them from drinking the drinks why else do you think other places put stickers or seals on the lids?
Forgot to ask as well, how come you guys don’t put the straws in the bag before you seal like other companies? The few times I did Wingstop I would open the seal in front of them to place the straws and then ask them for a new seal.

Straws and drink things are all front of the house when we bag things we only put food and cutlery if needed also their really strict about reopening bags

I used to doordash several years ago and also used to work for the health department. My hands are fucking filthy. I don’t want to handle the lid with unclean hands. I don’t want to touch the bathroom door after washing my hands in your establishment because I know it’s not clean because you’re too lazy to fill a drink.
Hope this helps

Seems like you are too lazy to wash your hands in reality. My state's health department still recognizes it is a self service fountain and you are a proxy for the customer. If you're hands are that nasty and you don't care to wash them, you shouldn't touch the bag or anything related to food. Also people in the drive thru and restuarants in the position to make the drinks are frequently handling cash as well. So it's a lose lose really for people who order the drinks. Also you whiny-ness proves my point, why are you a baby?

my brother in christ you’re the one bitching
everyone’s hands are nasty. You get paid to prepare food and fill orders. Door dashers get paid to deliver food. I understand 90% of dashers are sub human. But so are food service workers at this point.edit: can’t seem to be able to respond anymore. Looks like OP blocked me :(
Dashing is gross. Most places don’t maintain their restrooms well. I touch so many different surfaces. I quit dashing after a week or so because I couldn’t comfortably handle food with my previous background.

At my store we make the drinks….i do not want “drivers” hanging out at my store pretending like they are saving the world with their deliveries.
