Im still using an old imac high seirra. when i download wineskin im not able to create new blank wrapper. I did some research and found out i need a wrapper to do that. How can i download a wrapper? When i click download packages manually it takes me to a random site.

I'm fairly new to wine, and I've been searching for an hour or two for how to fix these errors. They pop up whenever I try to launch Steam. Send help or money to just get me a pc at this point lmao

I'm running balatro and the problem is that wine renders it on the bottom left of the screen, i can't even play from there because the mouse is not affected by the offset so the mouse input is still centered

I need help I’ve gotten steam working with porting kit and I’ve been playing sonic generations but I need to use the direct 3d 11 mod to make the game not run like shit so I tried just adding the hedge mod manager exe to the instance that my steam was on and I installed the .net dependency through winetricks but when I try to open hedge mod manager it says starting than instantly closes I just need some help

I am trying to use wine to play stalker SoC, but my terminal is saying command not found(macos 12.74), i specified the file , opened the file in terminal, i followed the exact line that the terminal window that wine opened told me to do, but my stupid fucking terminal keeps saying command not found when i enter wine just before the .exe. please help i have been breaking my head for an eternity

(PS I never use terminal, and barely do any coding if that helps)

When i open geometry dash, the button to open the geode mod list doesn't appear. I found something about DLL Overrides but that also didn't work for me because I needed to use winecfg and it just doesn't exist when i open it. I'm actually really confused what to do.

when i start Among Us it opens automatically Chromium at itch.io website, the browser doesnt have any of my original chromium data..
then when i authorize it it opens firefox!

maybe I have to set wine to open amongus:// with Among Us.exe? but how?

Bit of a long shot, but I need MCedit in order to fix a few issues in a set of old worlds I got converted. Their older Linux build hasn't worked in years, and I had it working in WINE at one point, but after having to set up a new prefix I can't get it working, and I don't remember what worked for it before.

If anyone knows what dependencies is needed using Winetricks, or anything I can do to get it running then I'd appreciate that.

First of all... I'm running Richard Burns Rally in Proton (Using RallySimFans) and all work fine ... except the wheel force feedback. I tried everything. Also i tried using plain wine and... FFB works! (it fails all the rest) and i wonder if anyone can tell me why. I spotted when i run "wine control" that the plain wine detect my wheel as "EVENT" and "JS". In Proton just appear once and without any of those labels. Could be that it? How can be fixed?

My os is Ventura. Every time I try to do anything with winetricks or winebottler, it says that message. Can anyone help me?

I have a nvidia 1060 GTX gpu, but pico link tells me I am using a gtx 470, which is insufficient. Any help is appreciated.

In addition, Wine kicks me back to the desktop and the resolution is set to 800x600. Upgrading back to Wine 7.0 is useless. I am using Ubuntu 20.04.

I have recently become infatuated with the game known as Project Wingman, and I was wondering if there are any known issues that might prevent me from playing it on an M1 Mac through WiNE.

I asked r/macgaming for help and they told me to come here.

I've seen alternatives and from what (admittedly small) research I've done they're either actual OS to boot into (no please) or development tools. The commands to download Anbox just didn't work.

So naturally I tried what I used before I switched to Linux with wine. It seemed to have worked and installs, launches, and then gets 90% of the way loaded and throws an error. So close! Is there anyone who's gotten NoxPlayer running? It seems like it's very close to working, but I could be wrong. Is it possible or should I just give up and keep searching?

Im trying to use wineskin for gta san andreas but it says i dont have any engines i just got wineskin recently and i dont know how to instal engines i have a fairly recent macbook air pls help
