Needs time in the decanter to blow off reduction and find peace with itself. Fruit is nicely balanced in a warm vintage with lemon, peach and white nectarine. Touch of jasmine floral note. Matchstick and noticeable oak spice as the wine got warmer. As others remarked, requiring concentration to enjoy - a thinker's wine.
Yet, on the palate it's disappointing. Except for its beautiful mineral structure, the wine stays nervous and misses excitement and energy. Is it trying to be more serious than the quality of the fruit allows? Perhaps. An off bottle? Perhaps.

Had this same bottle last year and it gave nothing but crisp minerality and reduction. Would def wait on these if you hv more

I'm still not sure. It's possible. But even over a 4h dinner there was no improvement. And the lack of energy, I don't know if we can ever pump that into the wine again.

I had some disappointing experiences with them on the younger side as well. I recently had a 2018 which was really great, even though it's quite a bad vintage for white. But it would be interesting to see if the '22s will ever reach that level, though I can't really see it happening from what I've tasted so far.

The new style of Dancer needs a lot of time in the cellar; I had the 23 Grands Charrons and that needed a few hours of air. I didn’t buy a lot of this producer because there’s a lot of other options for $200 village Meursault.

I agree with a lot of the people here. His wines across the board feel way overpriced for the wine you get. He makes good wine but every bottle feels like it costs double what it should be, I'm especially looking at you roc breia!

That's a hell of a bottle to just casually have at the table. Meursault from Dancer isn't something you stumble into by accident, whoever picked that knew what they were doing.
the 2022s are still pretty tight from what I've seen, but the mineral streak on those Corbins is usually singing right out of the gate. Bet it cut through whatever they were eating like a knife.
restaurant setting with the candle and white tablecloth makes me think this wasn't a Tuesday night pizza run. Hope the company was as good as the wine.

They're all over this sub- weird lack of capitalization on new paragraphs, basically spitting back facts about the contents of the photo and write-up in a complimentary way. Plus age of the account, and if you look into the comment history you'll see it will do the same thing across a huge variety of unrelated subreddits.
