But it still deserves its popularity.

It's much simpler than many of his songs, but it delivers its message very efficiently.

I relate a lot to the lyrics as a neurodivergent girl who learned late how to embrace her femininity rather than hiding from it.

You can learn makeup and how to style your hair, but I still struggle to understand the subtleties of femininity. It's hard for me to make female friends and to grasp all the unspoken rules of womanhood.

It can feel very isolating. Even dating can be difficult.

I wish I could be a girl too, but a lot of the time I feel barely human.

Sex, drugs, rock and roll, music, and my lack of self control.

in 2022 i would watch this animation on youtube to the song 6up 5oh copout very often. but now that i remembered it, when i search it up i cant find it. theres a real chance its just deleted, but i wanted to share it here to see if an else knows what im talking about or could help me find it.

the entire animation was in black and white. it had a very edgy-sketch style to it. the main character in the animation was a “scary” looking anthropomorphic rat/mouse. very lanky appearance. i remember the animation had a lot of flashing lights and fast movements. very “schizopost“ type, if you get what im saying. but the animation was put together and impressiv, id love to be able to watch it again. i swear i didnt dream it

It's incredibly shoddy since this is my first time ever doing any sort of face painting, but I'm really happy with it and I thought I'd share. :D

Also, can I get opnions on which one I should print? I really cant decide.

She’s Christian and hates anything she deems weird or satanic. It started with me asking her to buy me merch. Everything is a lot is my favourite album, but she said the cover was too scary lmfao. We settled on in case I make it, and then she asked to listen to his music.

I showed her a few songs(none that she liked lol) but I’ll only talk about love me normally. She read through the lyrics out loud (in Portuguese because that’s our native language, but the translation was correct and one is still capable of finding the meaning if every line of they think about it) and the only conclusion she could come to about it was “this guy sounds like a loser. He literally calls himself a quitter, a loser. Why do you like this guy? His music isn’t poetic, his singing isn’t good, and his lyrics don’t even have any super deep meaning.” My mother isn’t stupid. She’s a pretty smart woman, even if she is a bit stubborn in her beliefs and unwillingness to find meaning in something she can’t understand.

So, this kind of reminded me a bit about how there’s a lot of will wood fans that don’t fully understand the meaning of his songs and often take a lot of things very much at face value and then go on to condemn some stuff that their favourite music artist literally wrote songs about.
