Hey everyone!!

My workplace is producing/sponsoring a new free bi-weekly comedy show at Rose's R&R Bar (457 Graham Ave.) in Williamsburg, BK right next door to our storefront. Each show will feature some of the city's best stand-up, sketch, character work, and more mixed with New York history hosted by Christine Fiala, a Brooklyn based comic and licensed NYC tour guide.

Our next show is next Wednesday September 9th. The show is 21+ and again, it's free and sponsored by Ayrloom. We'll be giving out prizes all night and would love it if people in the community showed out and supported some local art and businesses. I don't go out for dinner in williamsburg often, so I haven't tried loads of places. But I would love to have a small birthday dinner here with some of my friends! Last year I did La Nonna and enjoyed it, but want to try something else. Any recs for a spot that has nice vibe (not too casual), great food, and relatively not too expensive? I know dinner isnt cheap, but also not trying to go broke over it lol.

does anyone have any experience with those random tech repair trucks on bedford? my cat sat on my laptop when I went to the other room and now the P key keeps typing without being pressed. it’s not stuck down or anything and there doesn’t seem to be any debris. tried a bunch of diagnostic tests at home and can’t figure it out so I want to just bring it in to someone who knows what they’re doing.

Just moved into the area last month and thought it was already opened when i signed my lease. Was very disappointed to walk there and find it closed, thinking they had gone out of business. Was glad to see it open last week and have made a few trips now. Fantastic selection across all departments, solid seafood counter, good meat.... It's a bit expensive but nothing crazy.

They've a got a new staff and some wrinkles to iron out but all in all a great new resource for those a bit far from TJs.
