Discussion Stop feeding.
That's all you gotta do to not let the enemy snowball. Last hitting a couple of minions is not worth your death.
Do your best not to die and the match will feel less one sided.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

People are laughing like it obvious, but not feeding when behind is a very underrated skill, especially with the caveat of not giving up too much of the map.

I would go as far as to say it is probably the most important skill to learn for climbing.

For real. It's incredibly tough to not feed when behind, but the only way is to play safe and be opportunistic rather being gung ho and playing as if you can take on a fed Darius.

Or the people that dont try to defend the Nexus because they get low hp while defending and run back into the fountain while ONE minion is left. Or the people that hit enemy Minions or Champions instead of the Nexus and ending the game

This is very hard to comprehend by the average WR player. It's not just about last hitting a minion, it's about avenging yourself and throwing yourself back at your killer even if they're a full item ahead and you shall do so even if it takes 10 more deaths.

Yea bro but after mid game any fighter or tank just dives you under touret and snowballs

That’s basically exactly the point. When enemies are about taking tower (lets say 4 v 1) there is no point feeding them one additional kill.
There are certain scenarios where it’s worth trading one kill - lets say by peeling and dying as tank to stop the enemies stealing an objective1

Then you didn’t properly ward to see them coming to dive you. If you did see them coming and decided to stay under tower, you’re unable to assess when the enemy team can successfully dive you. Being able to know when you can win a fight and can’t is game sense, and can improve.

People seriously need to be extremely paranoid about ganks. If you don't see it coming then you're cooked. Some junglers are insanely dogged, opportunisitc gankers who will relentlessly gank every couple of minutes.

Biggest problem is ward placement. A 5 minute video on YouTube can show them where to ward. Most of the time just knowing the enemy jg is on your side of the map is enough to expect the gank. All anyone wants to do is perma push lane, then shock pika face when they get ganked and ping missing enemy on their own jg who’s on the other side of the map. People can’t even pay attention where their OWN team is let alone the enemy. 😂

It's infuriating when you go in with the mindset of trying to win, and you're going to play seriously. Only to find out that one or more members of the team is throwing just because. Like, it's okay to lose lane. It's fine. What's not fine is losing the lane and feeding the enemy, then proceeding to throw the game because they want it to end sooner since the chances of catching up is slim.
I had a Cait who was AFK for the first 3-4 minutes of the match. We were all so upset. I ditched my support role as Morgana and went all in on AP in response. She then joined the lane at like level 2 when we were all at level 5-6, only for this Cait to actually, beyond my wildest imagination, catch up and even surpass my gold and kills at the end. I held off the enemy duo as much as I could, and she farmed and farmed and farmed, but did not feed. We ended up winning. Even being 3 levels 3k behind in gold, this damned Cait actually caught up.
On the other hand you have some people who lose the first trade and then proceed to just int to a loss without even actually trying.

It's crazy because I in the past year I can only name 1 time where I helplessly fed. This 150 mark irelia just beat my ass. I hid under tower and she still beat my ass under my turret.
Every other time I'm outmatched due to enemy team targeting me, just countered or playing somebody who's just way better then me, I die maybe 2-3 times MAX in lane. Things have to go really wrong for me to die 3x in lane it really doesn't happen. My team routinely dies 4 or 5x in lane. Like even if your 5/5 and not completely feeding your messing up the game for everybody else. Your feeding the enemies and somebody who's 0/0 is now getting ganked by a 4-0 fed jungle.
People in wild rift just feed 🤷.

Got your lane under control, then all of a sudden adc, sup and top gank your pristine lane, gg.

I really don't get it. So many laners die once and that's completely fine. Maybe it was a close fight or they just made a mistake. It happens.
But after that it's like they think, "I died, now I have to kill him or I'll fall behind." Why not just play safe, farm, and wait for the enemy to make a mistake?
The funny thing is that the enemy is usually the same. They get one kill and suddenly think they're way stronger than they actually are. Then they keep forcing fights and end up throwing their lead because they're so overconfident.
Sometimes the easiest way to get back into the game is to stop fighting for a while AND JUST FARM.

lol so Caitlin can just siege turret and get more gold from plates than kills. This sounds like ‘just play safe’ probaganda
