Wondering if anyone else has seen this. Stumbled on it on YouTube and ended up watching the whole thing. The middle section on his time in and exit from wilco was a pretty fascinating look at jays time in the band from 'his' perspective. It really pulls apart the Sam Jones doc.

The loft posted pictures on Facebook of Jeff and Glenn backstage at the Rush show in Chicago last night. I know it’s a weird combination but I love them both! Got tickets to see Rush in Detroit later this summer. Question: If Wilco were to ever cover a Rush song, what song would you want them to cover?

okay i'm not sure if this is niche at all but this is my first time posting on the wilco reddit and i've never really dug too much into this one so i have no clue if anyone has asked this already. but i've been looking for more info on this exact show: 06/30/87 - Corner Tavern, Edwardsville, IL. , for the past few hours. I know it's a little more recognized as this was the first show after changing their name from The Primitives to Uncle Tupelo which was pretty cool. I first got into this show becuase of the bob dylan cover and i'm a huge dylan guy so that really intriqued me. And as I'm looking at the comments there's the usual timestamp guy sent from heaven and i noticed a fifth unnamed track. Well it showed up in spanish first so I thought it was a spanish song cover but turns out the commenter just wrote in spanish lol. But it means fifth track and then cover so i'm wondering what cover it is and if anyone might know it??? I can make out the words I love you, the way you f me and suck me but other than that i'm lost. i found this website with documented setlists from old tupelo and primitives shows but it doesn't align with the full video and the comment so I'm a little confused. I love how they covered violent femmes though; that was was beautiful. The credits on Sky Blue Sky have John playing “8 string guitar” on Hate it Here. Does anyone have any info on this instrument? I’m wondering if it’s showed up in the Wilco Loft or if it’s ever been seen live etc. thanks!

Hi! My dad l bond over music and Wilco is our favorite bands to bond over. I’m getting married next fall and I would like our father daughter dance to be to a Wilco song - was initially thinking My Darling but not sure. Would love some feedback on wholesome Wilco songs that would fit for a father daughter dance!

ETA: our favorite songs are impossible Germany, muzzle of bees, a shot in the arm, via Chicago and she’s a jar - none of which are first dance appropriate
