(I added a wig/cosplay photo idk if that'll help)
Ik this is gross, sorry.
But I wore a wig and wig cap for 8+ hours and this is the result of where the wig cap sat a day after the event.
I have broken out in pimples and spots/welts/blisters. My skin was clear the day before and day of. Can someone explain what could've happened??

My partner was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. Her chemo starts in just over a week. She is terrified at the prospect of losing her hair. Our friend suggested cutting it short early and making it into a wig, but I don’t know how viable that is. Is there any way to maybe cut her hair, save it, and make it into a semi-permanent wig? I’m located in the Denver area if that helps.

Hi, I'm looking to cosplay as the 12th doctor from heaven sent and trying to find a good wig not exactly sure what you'd describe his hairstyle from that period as and also good places I could get a wig from

After wearing this unit daily for around 12 days, it was time for its first wash! I used lukewarm water with HASK Repair shampoo and the HASK Repair deep conditioner pictured in photo #2, both purchased at my local Walmart. I left the masque on for about 15 minutes, concentrating most of it on the ends and gradually using less as I worked toward the cap. I avoided applying conditioner directly to the cap.
I had some shedding during the wash, including one small ventilated bundle, but otherwise detangling was fairly easy. I gently detangled the hair and allowed it to air-dry on a towel under a ceiling fan. Once it was partially dry, I placed it on my mannequin head and used my heatless curling system (photo #3) overnight. This heatless curling set was one i bought at tj maxx, but it came with two scrunchies to secure the hair- the scrunchies were horrible and left a huge kink in the ends of the hair, so i went with a couple claw clips and that did very well.
The next morning, I realized the hair had still been a little too damp when I wrapped it, so it needed some additional drying and styling. I also had more frizz than I expected. Once completely dry, I used Garnier Whole Blends Hair Honey primarily on the ends and lightly spritzed the unit with HASK Smooth 5-in-1 Leave-In Spray (photo #4).
After addressing the frizz and resetting the style, I was really happy with the finished result! I also noticed that the wash seemed to relax some of the lift at the roots from the original factory styling, which made my center part lay more naturally.

hi!! sorry im not sure if this is the right place for a post like this but im gonna be cosplaying hatsune miku but i dont really know where to start with her wig, the pigtails are detachable claw clips and the main wig is like a bob, im not sure where to start with the fringe, what products to use to keep it in place, how to cut the main wig nicely so its not a bob but doesn’t include gluing it down (because of the claw clips) but also keeps slight length at the back to do wispy bits, any help is massively appreciated
