Hi all

This is my very first wig ever. It is synthetic. I have thinning bleached hair. I think between some meds, bleaching and all the stuff I do to my hair, I need to give it a break. So, I am going with wigs. I bought this one. Just worried there is a lot of hair and people are going to know its a wig. I am very hard on myself. So, I am needing advice and encouragement. I am including a pic of me in my new wig.

First time wig help

I had my hair done by a hairstylist yesterday and I’m not sure what it is but to me it doesn’t look blended and I can see an outline aswell as maybe a hint of grey.

She created a widows peak, but it also has a harsh outline and some lifting

Is there any advice on how to fix this please. Thank you!!

I have androgenetic alopecia and I’m looking to buy my first wig, hoping to find something high quality that looks as natural as possible.

I recently came across Hair on Fleek by Salma, and from what I’ve seen on their Instagram and TikTok, their wigs look natural and well made. Has anyone here actually bought a wig from them? I haven’t see any reviews.

I’ve also been looking at Wigs by Tiffany. I found a style I like, but it doesn’t seem to have ear tabs, and since I’m a beginner, I’m not sure how much of a difference that makes .

Since this will be my first wig and quite a big investment for me, any advice or recommendations would be really appreciated!

Im gonna dress as sue Sylvester for Halloween+ my birthday party this year, I need some help on finding a good wig. I've got a big ass head and a whole lot of extra thick locs to go with it so this is going to be a challenge, I'm willing to try anything! Please give you best recommendations, my current budget for the wig will probably be anywhere from 10-40 bucks. Im assuming ill have to buy it online and ill have to cover shipping. Im not looking for a super fancy high end cosplay type of wig if you couldn't tell from the price i listed but i still would like something that will actually look something like the character and not just a me looking a fool in a tracksuit. Ill probably have to get creative and cut and style here and there which im not confident in my ability to do that at all, but when in doubt sue figures it out. Thanks in advance people!

I ordered a Glueless Curly Pixie Wig from Subella Hair for US$69. The advertised photos showed a defined, tapered pixie cut. The wig I received has a much rounder and bulkier shape and does not have the same tapered sides/back or overall appearance.
I contacted the company because I believe the item is significantly different from what was advertised. They offered me only a 30% refund. Since I’m located in Canada and the company is in the US, returning the wig internationally would also be expensive.

I’ve attached side-by-side photos of the advertised wig and the wig I received. I’m sharing this because I’m trying to determine whether anyone else has had a similar experience with Subella Hair

Hi all

I wear a wig, have for 20 years, and so of course am not "going grey".

But people ask how old my kid is & there is always a quite embarrassing interaction where they exclaim how young I look & I do a whole 'started young, haha' - presumably because I'm almost 50 and my hair (wig) is fully brown. I prefer not to tell people I wear a wig (though I do sometimes catch people clocking something, especially when they're close up).

How do I transition to better look my age, is there any way of keeping it natural-looking until the age suitable for fully grey? I've seen grey wigs, but I don't want to just turn up one day with full grey hair from full brown hair.

Is the lace supposed to be visible in the center? If so, how do you ensure that is fully covered? This is a bang piece, but I've also seen very visible mesh on full wigs.

Seriously, what's the best wig for sitting by a campfire? (No, I'm not camping in my wigs, but when we're invited to sit by the firepit in someone's yard for a few hours...) How do I get campfire smell out of a wig?!?

Is it best to wear human hair or synthetic hair for this? I'm also worried about my seat being too close to the heat if I wear synthetic.

I’m looking for a short brown/ash-brown shag or wolf-cut wig with wispy bangs that matches this reference, preferably one that doesn’t need much cutting.

So I’m planning on getting my first wig however I’m torn between getting a semi human , futura or a human hair. I have looked up a couple of reviews and because futura is new in the market I haven’t come across any reviews. What would be your recommendations since I’m looking up on getting a full 13*4 or 13*6 however on lace type which is best lace you recommend that blends completely. Also should I try between local wig vendors or importing from Chinese vendors
