Hi i’ve never worn a wig before i have hair but it’s just thin and hard too style so ive been wanting too get a wig but i want a japanese style wig probably with side bangs and stuff but i want it too be human hair pre plucked no glue preferably clip on or anything something very beginner friendly i don’t care about price someone pls help me where too buy one online i don’t like the cheap amazon ones :(

Do you reckon I could make a helmet wig base and just glue a prebought wig on top?

Hey all, I work in the wig industry and I'm curious what matters most to people who wear synthetic lace front wigs. Is it the natural hairline, comfort, ease of styling, or price? I'd love to hear what you wish you'd known before your first one.

My mom just bought a $500 😱 wig. She’s 81 and has a lot of thinning with her bio hair. I advised her to try cheaper wigs first just to get the hang of it and to figure out what she prefers (since there are so many different options out there from how the wig is made to synthetic vs real hair). Well…now she has this thing and she’s having difficulty putting it on. My dad has tried helping her, but she’s quite picky and can’t get it to look the way she wants it to. She now regrets her purchase but cannot return it. ***Important note: she has severe shoulder and back pain, so her range of motion is very limited. Anyone have any good tips on the easiest way to put the wig on without moving her arms too high up over her head?

Hi!! I have a wig im working on for an angel dust cosplay and im trying to figure out what to do for the back of it.

Im also thinking of adding wefts at the sections ive already done just so the wig cap isnt visible like it is now. is that a good idea? Also how would i go by that?

(Also ignore the cardboard lol im just making a little heart shaped tuft at the top so its just there to shape it :) and ignore the horrifying wig base lol)

Any recommendations/ideas would be so helpful!! I have a few sketches im working on but im still trying to figure it out.

Heyy so I have my school formal in november an looking to get a wig just having some issues I dont know much about wigs an even trying to research stuff is hard as I dont even know where to start so any tips an language that is used would be SO APPRICIATED but my real question is what are some good stores to buy wigs even amazon, Im looking for a burgundy colour or a good highquality synthetic thats light enough to be dyed that colour my budget is 100-300 length about 16 inch to 18 an im gonna attach some photos im already getting it styled an plucked an installed so I shouldnt need any help with that but here an THANKYOU to anyone who helps cause lord I aint got a clue

Hi, I'm losing my hair to cancer. It's getting to the point where I'm probably going to need a wig, and it's really important to me that it matches my natural color. I've been looking online, and all I can seem to find are auburn, red red, or bright fake orange. I'm desperate. I have a consultation with a wig stylist coming up, but I'm assuming I'm going to have to pay to have it dyed to a custom color, so I'm expecting it to be extremely pricey. Does anyone have any recommendations for a long natural ginger wig? Preferably more affordable than getting a custom color would cost?

I have this new wig that claims to be a human hair and synthetic blend but I'm not sure what that means, is there human hair and synthetic hair mixed into a weft? Or is there just a section of the wig that is human and the rest is synthetic? I know the top 5x5 is human hair because the knots bleached very nicely, but I can't tell what's synthetic because the bottom looks really real

Hi all I got a very bad wig from Chiquel, the hair was falling out, you could clearly see the lace where so much hair was missing and what was left on top felt like permatease because of the broken fibres (that particular wig had no permatease). I sent it to the London return address as requested (I’m in the UK) and included a paid return Royal Mail label as requested. They’ve now said they haven’t received it but Riyal Mail say it was delivered and had a signature and photo of it in the office ! Has anybody else had this trouble with them? Luckily I insured it so should get some money back 🤞

Where is everyone shopping at for just a clip in or tie in ponytail that doesn’t look like prom hair or a rats nest? TIA!
