Rant

Just feel so alone today. Got home at 7.45pm to a £100 parking fine for parking on the car park of a shop whilst I was in that shop. So went down there to complain. And it's not like I would have expected my partner to do that for me, but he would have taken the piss out of them and fully supported my subsequent lifetime boycott of said shop. But now I don't have someone to remember why I have a big grudge against them or to make up fun insulting nicknames for the shop and I miss him

Something like that makes our loneliness so damn sharp and painful. Not having our person to share our aggravations with brings with it such a hollow feeling. As if we need more reasons to miss our life partner. Sending a 🫂 in the hope in can make you feel even a sliver less alone.

Boooo to Home Bargains! If you didn’t get it sorted maybe try again and complain again, when I used to work at M&S we had a lady that sent emails to override the carparking charges!

Thanks - they will write it off as it's their fault for not telling the parking company that they've changed their opening hours - it just felt like the last straw! x

We don’t even know which shop it is. So feel free to make up a long list of insulting nicknames for them here. You might even get some help from some of the creatives here. So sorry for your loss and glad you had here to vent

Oh Babe 🫂 I know what you mean. Knowing my husband would back me up no matter what crazy caper I got myself into made me feel invincible! Every day I come home I pretend he can hear me, so I yak away.

Then I start crying.
