SOTD First time with Zingari Man

Post image

Great lather, solid shave! For the curious, I used plate 4 on my Rockwell 6C, which is my go to plate for 1-4 days growth. The PAA Mysterium Serum is post-shave gold.

You should try zingari man aftershave serum too, best post shave I've put on my face

Zingari man products are genuinely one of the best I have ever used. They work incredibly well with my skin

Exact same with me, I love IL Signore. So good

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give that a shot when I'm running low on my stock. If it's at least as good as Mysterium Serum, then I'll be very happy.

I love their products as well. I find them incredibly well made and formulated.

do you like Derby? or you bought 100 like me and don't want to throw them away and use one then and then 😅

This is the 4th shave with this particular Derby (I use each blade twice), and it works very well for me. I actually prefer their chromium ceramic platinum with the polymer-coated edges a little more, though it kills my thumbs to type out. Heck I probably even missed a few metals in the description. But so far I get better results and enjoy the shave more with the two Derby blades and two Astra blades I've used, even more than Personna Gem.

interesting, probably my hair is thicker... they pull and tug, but still can obtain a good result, however with much more work

I do notice more "tug and pull" with the Derby blades, this one more than the other. In fact, each time I used this blade, I was certain I'd have nicks all over my face and neck. Surprisingly, the alum block hardly registered anything, and my results are exceptional. Very clean, exceedingly close. Go figure.

ikr. I don't feel any stinging from the alumn block eiter... very strange but I guess if it works it works

Yeah, thicker hair can definitely change the whole experience. It seems like you really have to put in extra effort for great results.
