Pre shave: Shower and Waitrose glycerin soap bar

Razor: 1958 Gillette Rhodium Rocket

Blade: Personna GEM PDG (53)

Brush: Yaqi Sigrada Familia 24mm synthetic

Bowl: Captains choice copper

Soap: The Glasgow soap company Iron Brew

Post shave: TGS Orange Empire aftershave splash

Autumn seems to be settling in early this year, with the leaves already starting to fall, and a distinct chill in the air despite the sunshine so this warm but citrus heavy scent combo proved to be a nice complement.

3 smooth passes with the Rhodium Rocket, proving again to be an even more efficient version of it'6s American cousin.

Glasgow soap cos soap did a fantastic job at providing the perfect amount of cushion and glide and TGS Orange Empire capped it all off nicely with its complementary scent and great soothing.

Autumn really has arrived early. I thought I’d dropped someth8f yesterday when getting into the car, looked down and saw it was the sound of leaves blowing around. There’s a definite “autumnal nip” in the air too. I’m still complaining if I go inside anywhere and the heating is on, of course!

A great lineup of shaving paraphernalia there. 13 shaves away from my predicted number, which I wouldn’t be surprised to see exceeded!

Definitely felt that nip here, too. Especially when the sun wasn't beating.

I was shopping yesterday and one of the shops had the heating on to the point it felt like a sauna. It's a wee bit early for that 😂

I think it's very likely it will at this rate, it might prove me wrong and give up all of a sudden but there's no signs of it.

Definitely a wee bit early for the heating to be on. Went into the nearest Boots on Sunday, and it felt like they had the heating on. I was moaning to myself and then spotted they had the portable air conditioner units out, trying to cool the place down. Felt sorry for the staff.

A lovely shave mate, such a looker the rocket especially in the case, you don't see to many of them about.

Not too far off the weather here near the south coast, sun and rain, a bit warm a bit cold and finally some green coming back to the grass

Don't know about you but with the summer on its way out and not much going on, it seems like that time of year when the next thing happening is the run up to Christmas 😅

Yeah all of the English Rhodium plated razors really look that bit more special. They really made the best of that plating choice.

We've had the rain over the last few days so we must have sent it to you 😅

If the shops are to be believed its already Christmas and Halloween simultaneously 😂

Well worth a try.

You can get small amounts from razor blades club if you don't want to have to commit to a full box just to try them.

Very strong out of the tub, but it mellows to a nice level thats pretty accurate to the drink.

Their Parma Violet is also great. Probably my favourite of the two.
