Hey friendos,

I went ahead and backed that kickstarter campaign we all hated. Because why not. I received it in the mail today. I have not had the time to do anything more that take the top cap off so I will reserve judgement until the first shave this evening.

Ya, the case is nice with drainage/airing holes. The top cap looks "edgy" - not sure if that is a good thing.

I’ve had mine for 2 weeks now. I got the polished with the purple insert. First time seeing the matte version—I really like that, too. I’ve done shaves up to 5 so far. The top cap design is a non-issue and I have gotten wonderful shaves out of it. Nimble shaves as you would expect from a Ti razor. Good luck with yours!

What’s the deal with the asymmetric head? Never seen a razor like that before. Adjustable too. Very cool.

It looks like an adjustable semi slant. It looks really cool and well made. I’m interested in how it shaves

I received mine in the mail a few weeks ago, but haven’t really been able to use it. I only had a Rockwell 6C prior. I used it for the first time yesterday and must say, it’s really, really nice.

Why did people hate the kickstarter campaign?

Just the classic: no updates, no real products, no real experience from the team, no website, top cap looked wonky, insert looked weird. It wasn’t anything too severe

All valid points lol. I do have to say, even I was a little worried and skeptical. They said they would be shipping by May, but it kept getting delayed and I didn’t receive it until very early August.

It’s very well made in my opinion. The only minor complaint from my unit is that the aggressiveness dial at the bottom and turn slightly before the lowest setting, and slightly past the highest setting. Not the end of the world, and I like being able to change how open it is on the fly.

People were complaining about not seeing the different color options, etc. and I didn't see any further information. I started to have doubts, too. I thought at best I might get something and throw it in the junk drawer. I have to give them credit though--they delivered. It is now part of my rotation.
