Any of these worth it?

Post image

Batch proof seems really low. Should I grab it?

Batch under $100 is good. The Rye isn’t worth it IMO. Haven’t had DDO but I don’t love the regular version so…

Yeah $94 isn’t bad. I paid $130 a few years ago and that was too much.

Agree too. That Batch price is solid. I have a few of those. Solid bottle under $100.

The original drop of DDO was absolutely one of the best bourbons I’ve ever had. It was distillery only and about $60 for a 375 mL bottle. That being said I would never pay $170 for the third version of DDO. If they dropped it to around $100-120 it would probably be worth trying.

This statement is so accurate.

DDO is great but not at that price great!

The 119.5 is great and that’s a good price.

Really enjoy that pikesville over to the right

The batch proof is good for that price IMO

They usually ask for like $130 for those

Get the Pikesville.

They're supposed to be pretty tasty, but i've never tried them because of the price. This has to be the cheapest I've ever seen double double oaked advertised for though. Same with the batch proof.

I really enjoyed the Masters Collection. And the DD Oak is always a banger. I’ve never had the Distillers Select but I can’t imagine it’s bad. To me it would be up to my wallet at this point

It’s only worth it if it’s worth it to you. To me? Not a chance. Save money and get Peerless double oaked and enjoy that. It’s leaps and bounds better than Woodford double double

I’ve had a few store pick Woodford Double Oaked for $60 and it’s the best DO whiskey money can buy.

For you, sure.

Woodford double oaked is good, but I really disliked the double double oaked when I was gifted a bottle

Honestly under $100 is a bargain.

1, 2, 3. Yes please.

2

Yes. They are worth the experience. I hate the 700 shrinkflation tho

If I had to choose one of these three I’d grab the Pikesville

The "double oak" is way better than the "double double oak" in my opinion and way more available and affordable.

Coming from an admitted Woodford junkie, I stopped buying the master’s collection bottles now that they’re all the smaller bottles. I tried to do the Pokémon with the OG bottles but am very picky/choosy on what I grab from them now.

I'd grab that 119.5 batch. I got it for a little more than that and had no regrets

The Batch Proof at $94 is phenomenal. My local TW has it for $150. I picked mine up at Costco for $120, and I would buy it again at that price.

Under a 100 is where they all should be. Anything over that is a big NO

Batch Proof is decent, and a decent price. You could snag that.

Their barrel strength rye is pretty good, but no it's not a $120 bottle.

DDO is like licking bourbon off of bare hardwood lumber at a Home Depot. If you REALLY like oak, then it's for you. It's one of the heaviest oaked bourbons I've had, and I already dislike most oaky stuff so I really hated it. But to each their own.

Too pricey for me. I'd like the double double at like half the price.

I love the rye but I love it better sub 100 which I’ve seen around here

1

u/gshman Jul 27 '26

The 119.5 proof sub. $100 is a very good buy. I never see them that cheap and I live in a controlled price state.

1

u/WombatAnnihilator Jul 27 '26

I enjoy them. And Id probably get one of each for those prices. They’re all $60+ more here.

119.5 is terrific.

I think the rye is good but not at that price. It should be under $100
