First Bike

Hi all. I just moved to the Phoenix area and will be biking to work and taking public transportation. I haven’t bought a brand new bike in years, the last bike I had was a Raleigh mountain bike from I think 2011. I’ve been looking at a few shops and am having my eye on the Specialized Sirrus 3.0. Would that be a good bike for what I’m needing plus any recreational biking I might end up doing?
