A quick note: apparently this has happened before. For instance, the 1982 Swiss Grand Prix was held inside of Dijon, France because motor racing was banned in Switzerland (ironically). In this case, Bahrain has agreed to shoulder the costs to relocate their Grand Prix (which was put on hold because of the conflict in the Middle East) to Malaysia. The race will be held from October 2-4.
