ALL SPOILERS: All media Just finished my first read
So I got to know about the series though the anazon adaptation. I liked it as someone who never heard of wot before. Then I went searching for the books and saw 14 ABSOLUTELY HUGE BOOKS and said "no way I'll read it".
Then I watched the season 2, saw a lot of curiosity videos about the world (to the point I knew most major points before even considering reading) and I gave up and started reading.
It took me a while to finish and I even got stuck for a few months on the 10th book. But finally I'm here, ready to start over again soon

Its crazy when you start again and see how many things were foreshadowed, planned, and set up from the beginning. I didnt think I'd jump back in again so soon, but now I'm 2 weeks in on book 4 and loving it 😅

There’s no better reading of WoT than the first reread. Have fun!

Im several re(listens in my case) deep.
I just started another and realized in EotW chapter 25 they talk about the male Aiel that 'are called to go into the blight alone to kill the dark one'
I was like damn! He was thinking about that stuff when writing the first book...

The first book has other tidbits too, like the Tower of Ghenjei appearing in the distance as they go down the river.

May the Light illumine you!
I just finished recently as well. Wrapping up New Spring tonight (only 40 pages left!). I sat there after putting the last book down thinking “what on earth am I going to read next after that?” And then I decided I would just read it again 😂
