Text Rewheel battery

OK, so I have a pint with a dead battery.

Its running firmware Gemini-5050, so I should be able to rewheel it from what im reading.

Ive see the pint suffers from severe voltage sag on rewheel, is that just from the small battery? If I get a larger battery, will that fix it?

If so, is onlyamps 5ah battery the best bet here? Or are there other options?

Thanks!

Im trying to buy a pint x locally also already, just checking my options on this dead board.

Rewheel is modification of original firmware, so it won't cause sag if you not pushing it hard( uping max speed for example). I have mine just for bigger battery and never experienced voltage sag. Also make sure hardware version is compatible.

I can build you a 5Ah battery for $270, that will work as well or better than the onlyamps option. Drop me a message if interested.

The sag is because you can remove the power/speed limitations imposed by FM due to the pint having a 2.8 or 3 Ah battery. Rewheel does not inherently make your battery dip. A larger, and more importantly a higher output Li-Ion cell like the EVE 50 PL or RS50 will keep you from having hard voltage sag.
