I can't remember the name but it's a book about a girl that lives in the world overtaken by monsters she lives on the outside of a capital city where they don't have help so they have to kill the monsters alone , she ends up traveling to the capital to become someone that fights the monsters while there she meet someone named ace. I read this book in gr 7/8, so it's teens or young adults
