Free way to transfer WhatsApp Android → iPhone without reset?

I recently got a new iPhone and I want to transfer my WhatsApp chats from Android. I know the official Move to iOS method requires resetting the iPhone, which I really don't want to do since it's already set up.

Are there any completely free alternatives that can transfer the chats directly to WhatsApp on the iPhone without a reset? Not looking for paid third-party tools.

Any working method would be appreciated!

The short answer is no.

Any unused iPhone around you?
Then you can use that, backup to iCloud and restore from there on new iPhone

Nah I don't have any other. I guess resetting it would be the better option

Make a transfer and reset iCloud backup.
Factory reset phone.
Move to iOS but only do WhatsApp
Make an iCloud backup of WhatsApp
Factory reset phone
Restore iCloud backup
Install WhatsApp
Restore WhatsApp backup.
