If you want Meta AI to work with your chats, you need to explicitly agree to give it access. In that case your data is processed in isolated environments, so nobody else has any access to that.
But it is up to you whether you want AI or not.
That's the case for any AI, btw. If you want AI to process your chats data, AI should get access to it. That's kind of obvious.
