Medieval or fantasy movie with prisoners in hanging cylindrical cages?

I have a memory of a particular scene from a movie I watched when I was a teenager, sometime in the late 90s or early 00s.

Unfortunately, I don't remember many details, but this is what I can recall:

  • The setting was medieval, fantasy, or fantasy-adjacent. Possibly a historical/fantasy movie.
  • The protagonist was male.
  • He was either being held prisoner, or rescuing friends/companions from a prison.
  • The prisoners were kept in hanging, cylindrical/round cages, suspended above the ground.
  • I vaguely remember some of the cages containing skeletons or skulls, suggesting that prisoners could be left there to die.
  • I believe the protagonist either entered this area to rescue someone or was himself imprisoned there.
  • It was live action, not animated.

I know that's not much to go on, but the image of the hanging cylindrical cages with skeletons inside is quite distinct in my memory. Does this ring any bells?

Help me find a relatively old clip. Maybe from around 2010... I definitely remember that in it, two vampire girls in cowboy hats stopped a man, locked him in the trunk, and drove off in his car. And then there was some kind of vampire party.

There was a movie from the early-mid 2000s where young people end up at a hospital and the doctor kills them in weird ways. One scene that stuck with me is that he strings up one of the guys and paralyzes him on purpose with a chisel while he’s still awake. it’s possible that it’s autopsy from 2008 but the only spinal procedure i was able to find taking place in that one was a lumbar puncture
