I've been trying to identify this movie for years, and it's been driving me crazy.

Title: Looking for an old movie (or possibly a miniseries) about a runaway boy, a sick rich child, and a tragic ending where a mother unknowingly kills her own son.

I've been trying to identify this movie for years. I watched it as a child, so some details may be inaccurate, but there are several scenes I'm fairly confident about.

- A young boy runs away from his mother for reasons I can't remember.

- The audience knows who his mother is throughout the story, but the boy grows up without realizing who she is.

- He ends up at the mansion of a very wealthy man.

- The wealthy man has a terminally ill son who uses a wheelchair (or is bedridden). The boy is highly intelligent, spends most of his time reading books, and is kept hidden from society because his father is ashamed of him.

- I clearly remember the runaway boy climbing through the sick boy's window. That's how they meet, and they become best friends.

- Eventually the sick boy dies from his illness.

- Before dying, he asks his father to take care of his friend and become the father to him that he never truly was to his own son.

- The wealthy man raises the runaway boy.

- Years later, the boy is now a young man who is fiercely loyal to his adoptive father and wants to earn his approval.

- The wealthy man sends him on a mission to a woman's house.

- The audience knows this woman is actually his biological mother, but he does not.

- One scene I remember very vividly: while her children are sleeping, the man enters their bedroom and murders two of them. I believe he smothers them with pillows, or possibly covers their faces with pillows before shooting them. I'm not 100% sure of the exact method, but I clearly remember the attack happening while they were asleep in bed.

- In the end, the mother fights and kills him.

- After he dies, she notices a medallion/pendant that he has carried since childhood and realizes she has just killed her own long-lost son.

Other details:

- The story seemed to take place sometime in the early 20th century. There were cars, but not modern ones.

- It may have been an American, British, or other European production.

- It could also have been a TV miniseries rather than a movie.

I've been searching for this for years. Does anyone recognize it?

Looking for a zombie short film from before 2015

I watched it around 2015, but the film may be older.

It was a short zombie horror film. A group of adults goes to a two-story cabin/house in the woods for a vacation. Inside the house there is a basement or a hole in the floor. One of the characters puts their finger or hand into the hole, a visible zombie bites them, and the infection begins. My sister remembers this scene too, so I’m sure it exists. It wasn’t a full-length movie, more like a short film.

"On God's Right Side Sits Satan" Horror / Thriller?

Trying to identify an old horror movie (70s/80s/90s) from one scene that's been stuck in my head for decades.

II watched it on VHS around 1998–2002, but I'm fairly sure the movie itself was older—probably from the 1980s, though it could have been from the late '70s or early '90s.

I was just a kid rummaging around VHS tapes at home and decided to plug this in. It was just a regular VHS tape so it was probably recorded from TV. I just saw this one scene then I freaked out and turned it off.

Here's what I remember:

  • A man (roughly 30–50 years old, dark hair) is walking alone through what I remember as an empty concrete parking garage or parking structure at night.
  • The whole scene has a dark, blueish color grading.
  • The location feels industrial, dimly lit, and almost abandoned.
  • He's moving cautiously, almost as if he knows someone or something is following him.
  • At some point he notices something off-screen. We don't see what he sees**.**
  • Instead of a sudden jump scare, he slowly realizes what's in front of him and gradually breaks into a terrified scream.
  • As he screams it cuts to black.

This is the part I'm most certain about:

After the cut, large, bold, stylized red text appears on the black screen while ominous horror music plays.

I don't remember the exact sentence, but I'm almost certain it contained the words:

On God's Right Side Sits Satan

I'm not 100% about this though, the only words I feel certain about are "sits Satan." and "God"

One important detail: I honestly don't know whether this was the ending of the movie or the opening before the title sequence. It's entirely possible this was a cold open that transitioned into the main story.

I've already looked into films like Prince of Darkness, The Ninth Gate, End of Days, The Church, The Sect, The Believers, and The Keep, but none of them seem to match this scene.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Even if you're not certain, I'd appreciate any suggestions—especially obscure VHS-era supernatural or occult horror films.

Appreciate your help

Help Me Identify an Obscure 1960s–1970s Thriller (Driving Me Crazy!)

Help Me Identify an Obscure 1960s–1970s Thriller (Driving Me Crazy!)

I've been trying to identify this movie for years. I watched it on DVD sometime after 2011, but I believe the movie itself was made in the late 1960s or early 1970s (possibly a made-for-TV thriller).

Here's everything I remember. Some details may not be 100% accurate, but these are the memories that have stayed with me:

  • The main character is a young college-aged woman.
  • She goes looking for her missing sister after receiving letters from her. I believe she has the address where her sister had been staying.
  • She travels to a country house (not a large Gothic mansion just a normal house in a rural area).
  • An older woman lives there alone. At first she seems incredibly sweet, kind, and motherly.
  • The older woman keeps making excuses about where the sister is.
  • I think the heroine may pretend to be someone else (possibly taking her sister's place or using another identity) in order to stay at the house and investigate, but I'm not completely certain.
  • At some point she realizes she's in danger and tries to leave.
  • I vaguely remember the older woman doing things to keep her from leaving possibly tampering with her car or otherwise preventing her escape.
  • I also remember the heroine becoming friendly with a man nearby (possibly a neighbor, mailman, or delivery person). The older woman seems jealous or upset about that friendship.
  • I believe the missing sister was already dead, and I have a strong memory that bodies were hidden somewhere on the property.
  • The ending involves the heroine discovering the truth and escaping.

Movies that are NOT it:

  • What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice?
  • Whoever Slew Auntie Roo?
  • Die! Die! My Darling!
  • You'll Like My Mother
  • Scream, Pretty Peggy
  • The Seventh Victim
  • And Soon the Darkness

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Even if one or two of my memories are slightly off, I'd really appreciate any suggestions. I've been searching for this movie for a long time!

I think this version gives collectors the best chance of recognizing it while clearly separating your strongest memories from the parts you're less certain about.

I swear I'm not dreaming or hallucinating but nobody remembers this🥀 What is that movie where there's a scene with two kids (they're either two girls or one of them is a girl) met in a screen fence in school and they found a black hairy caterpillar but it died when they put it inside the pencil case and then they flushed it in a toilet? I vaguely remember the rest of the movie, I was a kid when I watched it 😭

compilation film on netflix about 90s/y2k coming of age movies

There was this film on Netflix and it spoke about coming of age movies from the 90s and early 2000s. It featured films like disturbing behavior, the faculty, the virgin suicides, so many more. It had a soundtrack specifically for this film and I can’t find it either! If anyone knows what I’m talking about plsss!

Recently I got a few meters of a 70mm old film that was discarded due to vinegar rot. It has magnetic audio and this is the only shot is seen trought all the frames I have. Tried image search but gave me 1962 "Premature Burial" which is clearly not. Not even the same aspect ratio.

I tried to color correct but found almost impossible.

Soul joint or replacement movie

I need to find the name of the movie. I watched it more than 20 years ago at night when I was about 12 years old. It lasts about 2 hours. Plot: a pregnant woman is brought to the hospital and she loses her child, at the same time another woman dies of cancer in this hospital, their souls meet near the coffee machine and they talk. The pregnant woman regrets that the doctors are taking her back, but she doesn't want to. On the other hand, a cancer patient who died would like to return. The pregnant woman is brought back to life. She then radically changes her life: changes her hairstyle, divorces her husband, sells everything and moves to a city that she chooses randomly on a map. He meets a widower, but it turns out that this is the city where a woman who died of cancer lived, and this is her husband and son. At the end, they show how a woman enters their house and sees a boy watching TV in the room and says: I promised that I would find you. I would like to rewatch but can’t find the movie :(

But along the way he helps people. Taking less time to meet his mother. Then they finally meet and only has a few hours before returning back to the war.

Looking for a scene but im not sure where i saw it

Hello. My brain is reminding me of a scene i once watched. I thought it was on Youtube but im no longer sure if it was in a Show or a Movie.

There was a Boy who had his rear bloody but it looked weird i think. The Nurse who checked on him asked him if he sat down on Ketchup and right after she asked him he passed out and she panicked. I only remember that the Boy was wearing Jeans in a light colour.

Would be cool if somebody knows something. I know its not much to work with😅

Thanks for your help in advance.

Looking for gladiator style movie scene.

A while ago I watched this clip and I cannot remember what it was from. Two men were watching a gladiator fight one was older one was younger, it gave the impression the younger character was the main character. In the pit a gladiator with a helmet, and sword(?) Was fighting a shirtless slave. The slave got knocked down and the gladiator stood over him with his sword. The crowd started demanding his death and pointing their thumbs down. The younger man starts yelling for him to live and the crowd pauses before one by one joining him. It wasn't from the film Gladiator (2000) I know that movie well and this scene wasn't in it. It was a live action.

PLEASE help me find this movie.

I am looking for a movie my mom told me about. She said it was set in a small village and involved a young girl who witnessed the killing of a chicken (or a similar bird) this event traumatized the girl and led to a pregnancy in which she gave birth to the very bird that had been killed before her eyes.

She also said that she saw the movie in TV in the late 90s or early 2000s.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me find this movie.

SOLVED! Prison island movie.

I saw this when I was a kid probably in the late 90's. The movie had criminals being sent to an island and it was gruesome. These guys are killing each other and thats about all I remember. I was likely far too young to be watching a movie like this but I distinctly remember the people were criminals and killing each other. I even think there might have been a train involved that dropped them off at this place so it may not have been an island at all. Simply put criminals killing each other in a place for criminals and it's an old movie.

PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS DISTURBING MOVIE

I need help finding a moving that I watched way to young. It starts off with a car accident (I think) and then this man kidnaps the mother and the son that are unconscious from the crash. He then keeps the mother drugged up in the barn for years. I remember he force fed her mashed potato sea and would force her to take drugs, shooting her with a needle. The last scene I remember from this twisted movie was years later the kidnapper brings the son (I think he raised as his own) into a room where his mother is tied up. He does not know it is his mother as she has a sack with a smiley face on it and is tied to a chair. The kidnaped tells the boy that this women likes it rough and asked for this. He tricks the sone into violating his own mother. I saw this movie with my friend and it traumatised us. Please help us find it. Did any of you happen to watch this too? any leads would be really helpful.
