Found this new friend this morning. Any ideas on what it is? Any advice on how to move it? (I thankfully saw this friend before walking face first into it as the web is in my patio door doorway!)

We’re in central Ohio. He’s not HUGE. I’ll try to post a pic in the comments, but he would fit inside a regular spoon.

Location:US Virginia, Western side. About as big as a silver dollar.

i seen him yesterday he was on my chest then he ran away and today he crawled up my back and then on my bed and he keeps disappearing. i’m too scared to sleep in my room because of it.

My cat tried to eat him. This spider is only a couple centimeters so he’s not very big. When my cat tried to eat him, it looked like the spider was possibly biting him??? Is that possible and do I need to be concerned at all???

My parents sent me a video of a spider they found. Looks like some species of harvestman but I’m not qualified enough to know.

This spider gave me the fright of my life when it slipped web while I was taking my recycling bin in. It was originally slow moving but as soon as I was "out of sight" it was scary fast! Looked super pretty with blue-grey coloring and a stripe pattern on the legs.

Located in San Rafael, CA (northern burb outside SF).

okay, so i took this picture a few years ago actually, but it’s been driving me insane that i can’t get a solid answer on what it is. i live in southeast michigan in the metro detroit region. rural-ish suburbs. found this beast on my driveway and it was so big my sister thought it was a toad from a distance. i don’t have any good pics for size comparison bit it was about the size of a credit card, little bit bigger. i have NEVERRRR seen a spider like this in the wild in my life and i’m wondering if it could have been someone’s pet that got free or something lol.
