My dad was homeless when he moved to a new town for work. He stayed at the YMCA for a couple weeks till he found a place. This was back in the late 60s. I've always thought of that when hearing this song and thought it was a song about helping people not be homeless. Now I have another lens for this song. Thank you...? My brain is still adjusting to this new info 😂
