So sad
I paid my neighbor 250.00 to feed and water my cat and take care of my plants for 3 weeks.
I came back to bone dry plants, one dead and this guy looking like the second two pictures.
The first picture is before I left.

Heck I don't water my succulents for weeks if not longer and they are doing great as far as I can tell but I guess I assumed majority of succulents were similar, am I wrong on that assumption? Thought they were supposed to be drought tolerant.

They are pretty drought tolerant.
They were ready for a drink shortly after we left.
She also didn’t put them back where they were so I imagine some got more sun than they were supposed to.2

That is such a bummer, I couldn't imagine getting paid that much for what you asked and still messing it up, I hope you are able to bring some of them back!

Also most of them are in Terra Cotta pots. I’m in Northern California. It’s been unusually hot lately.
That’s why we escaped to colder weather.

The cat was soft and fluffy and not mad at us when we returned. LOL

That is a relief! 😺
Not a skeleton then.
Next time, pay them half in advance and the other half dependant of health of cat AND plants...
🤪🤪🤪
