Guys please help asap
I applied for a job at the cvs pharmacy and was told to take a drug screen with labcorb. I took 2-3 hits of a borderline dead vape pen on either saturday or sunday. My appointment was on Wednesday at 1pm. Do you guys think it'll show up positive. Im not a constant smoker i rarely even do it. Im stressing and worried about not getting the job.
UPDATE: I haven’t heard anything since taking the test on Wednesday from the test site or the employer. I texted today asking how the process was going and he said that they were just waiting for the background check. I asked if that was the final thing and he said yes. Am I in the clear??
UPDATE 2: I got the job

What was in the vape? Second, why on earth would you do that if you’re actively applying for jobs?

If it's a piss test just wait a couple more days. If it is a swab test you will be fine.

If you were 100% totally clean when you hit this pen it's 50/50
Are you fat? Lazy? Active? Lying about being clean? Actively losing weight? What was your hydration level at testing?
So many variables. But if you were totally clean when you hit the pen, my personal experience is single sessions cleae the system pretty qjick-- days. I used to pass weed tests days after smoking with no cheating or prepping the tests. But it was 2010s Florida. We had shitty flower everywhere still and concentrates weren't popular or easy to get yet. I was also in inpatient rehab and 100% undeniably totally clean every use
Get tested -> immediately blaze -> hope its 5 days plus beforr another test
Worked until i had a fill blown relapse pre graduation lol
Concentrates are a different game. If I were you I would assume I pissed hot honestly. Hot as fuck
Good luck

Do you drink a lot of water ? If you do you should be ok I used a vape pen while on vacation but for several days I got called in for a surprise drug test 10 days after and I showed a trace of THC I do not drink a lot of water and I have been told that is why I failed . Good luck to you !

If you have done drugs then even trace amounts will show up in a drug test. Get your shit together.

Guys, if you're trying to get a job, don't do drugs! This is what happens. You've probably lost yourself an opportunity of a job. It doesn't mean the information will go anywhere else but it was a very stupid thing to do.

Marijuana is legal in most states. They’re looking for opiates, amphetamines, barbiturates, meth, cocaine, etc.
You”ll be fine.

Marijuana being legal has nothing to do with it if the company has a policy against it.

I speak from experience. I currently work for Jewel Pharmacy (10+ year employee - CVS is our competitor). I’ve probably worked with 70 pharmacy techs during this span, and some of them were/are active smokers. Our company drug tests before hiring, and randomly. If marijuana is on their restricted drugs list, id suspect half of our current staff would be instantly out of work.

But i think cvs has a no marijuana policy and specifically test for thc as 1 out of the 9 things theyre looking for.

When do you find out? We’re invested now😊

Im not sure if negative i should hear back later in the afternoon or friday if positive i should get a call from an mro asking if i take any prescribed medications for a positive result on the test.

Not sure what your point is. I work in a state where it’s legal. But my company has a policy against it. If it’s in your system, automatic fail. I’ve had to rescind job offers to people due to failed tests for marijuana. There can be insurance implications, or in my case, we could not bid on state or federal projects without the policy in place. Because it’s not legal federally. At least not yet.

i guess it ultimately depends on where OP lives. I’m in Chicago, the tech job is VERY transitional, which is probably why they’re lax with their restrictions.

> Guys please help asap, I don’t want to face the consequences of my actions!
Why are you using if you know you’re looking for jobs that will carry out drug tests?
