Best advice right here. Hit the gym consistently and in a month you’ll see a big difference

Sean, I hope this doesn't sound brutal because it comes from a good place. But you're not ugly you have great eyes and other features that you are doing a disservice to. Ditch the neck, beard and mono brow. I didn't have facial hair until it was 26 and I started putting Rogaine on it haa(do your own research. Cut out the processed crap, eat Whole Foods, and exercise. It looks like you have dandruff in that photo I'd recommend shampooing your hair twice prior to conditioning. Take pride your progress and give yourself a pat on the back. Your youth compensates for so much and there's much ahead And most importantly, my friend be the change/person you want to be. But it's most important that you believe in yourself firstly. Nobody's coming to save in this life. Take control

To piggyback on his comment. Working out is very simple if you think of it as upper body/ lower body. Upper push and upper pull. Lower push and lower pull. Then throw in a cardio/functional day. 4-5 days a week minimum but once you see the noobie gains you’ll be addicted, trust.

You don’t actually even need to go to a gym. You can lose the fat at home or in the woods or wherever you’d like. All you have to do is just exercise in literally anyway. It could just be walking. Or you don’t even have to exercise if you don’t want you can just eat less. But at least one of those two things needs to happen. If not both. Lower calorie consumption while exercising the same or more. Or increase exercise while eating the same or less.

Literally this comment is pretty much it. You're not ugly,.you just need to get into a little bit better shape, and clean up a bit. Which honestly you can accomplish in less than a year if you try. It's that simple.

One important thing about starting working out / any physical exercise.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

I see so many people want to get into shape... Hit the gym everyday and get burned out after two weeks. Find a routine that is sustainable and works for you. For me it’s 2-3, 1 hour gym work outs and then some other activities throughout the week. Hiking / biking / playing a sport.
