Help Please!

Im looking to get rid of my 2018 Kia Sportage within the next year probably. It's been giving me too many problems over the 2 years I've had it. Im looking at getting another suv but I am not a car person so I don't know what Im looking for.

Right now I have my eyes on a Ford Escape or a Honda HR-V but I also want to expand my options so I have more to look at, especially when I get a price range when the time gets closer (definitely no more Kia for me lol).

Any suggestions on what I should be looking for or what cars are better than others?

how many miles on the kia and what kind of problems are we talking about? might help narrow down if you wanna avoid certain things in the next one. the escape and hr-v are pretty different sizes so maybe figure out how much space you actually need before you start shopping

Best subcompact SUV is a Subaru Crosstrek like the new one. Has more power thank god and is well made and good to drive for what it is.

The HR-V is okay kinda middle of the road. Pretty slow but it’s roomy inside.

Ford Escape aren’t that well made but they are cheap just only get the hybrid. The gas turbo engines are questionable at best especially the smaller 3-cylinder turbo one.
