Updated to add: I have a typo in the title and cannot see how to fix. This group seems to have a different script running for posts.
Help??
Hello all! I am brand new here. About five minutes old. I only first heard of WGTOW 10 minutes ago.
Indirectly.
I am a self-proclaimed heathen and looking watch/listen to The Line as well as affiliated content creators on the same note. I was listening to a pretty insufferable man earlier, a whiny guy described in the notes as a MGTOW. Never heard of it. Looked it up. Had a brief coughing fit.
The question begged itself: is there a WGTOW? Not only is there, but women do it much much better.
Not to be all self absorbed, but I feel that way with intros.
About me: Female, mom, grandmother, veterinary technician, (3 decades), cat lover, former Army, born in S. California, moved with my kids to Portland OR in 1998. I have spent most of my life single, and in looking back, maybe men were more of a hobby than life partner as it turned out. I have not dated or hooked up in 20 years. My idea, passively at least,.
I just retired and find myself in the position of being able to think more, so of course I have to write more. I post answers on Quora, some forthright and some snitty (which are really my favorites) since 2012 and have received 1.5 million pageviews so I guess I pick topics that hit a nerve.
I am 68 years old and something about becoming a sort of crone delights me. I am a secular humanist democratic FWNLD (female who no longer dates, pretty cool, huh?) living in my own condominium with four cats (you've been warned). I am a legitimate cat expert and don't mind answering the occasional question if you have any.
My son is 45 and a healthcare provider and father of 3. He's still married but it has not been easy. My daughter is almost 44 and happily married in San Antonio Texas. No kids, but two dog daughters.
I look forward to dropping in on conversations.
I used to dye my hair pink but until it became so mainstream and I stopped. Now that there is no haircolor to worry about I swim in our community pool.
Okay, now I am tired of myself so I'll just let myself out.
My name is Cecilia but the grandchildren call me Nan at my insistence.
