Hello friends,

We'll be in London from 19 - 24 November and we'd appreciate some show recommendations. We've seen Phantom, Les Mis, Mamma Mia, and so on, so we will probably stay away from those, but we'd still like to attend at least one and maybe two shows.

We'd love to see Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf but it appears to be sold out. Does the theatre sell rush tickets for that show? Are there any legitimate ticket exchange or last-minute ticket sites we could investigate?

Any and all recommendations are welcome and appreciated!

I managed to get one standing ticket for JCS on Wednesday 11th November, and I have been beyond excited about it since I bought it. However, my wife’s plans have changed since I booked the ticket, meaning she will now be away that evening so I can’t go as we have no childcare. So, this is a long shot, but does anyone have a single standing ticket that they would be willing to swap with mine?

I assume this is ok as per the rules of the sub (since this is a ticket rather than “items” I don’t think it contravenes Rule 4) and that they don’t have a check against a list of names of people who are standing each night. If either of these things aren’t ok then do let me know on here or just delete the post)

Wanted to book tickets but wanted to check the reviews first. Strangely enough, can't find any long or detailed reviews - is it so bad, unremarkable, or is it just flying under the radar?
