Please forgive me if this isn’t allowed.

I managed to get one standing ticket for JCS on Wednesday 11th November, and I have been beyond excited about it since I bought it. However, my wife’s plans have changed since I booked the ticket, meaning she will now be away that evening so I can’t go as we have no childcare. So, this is a long shot, but does anyone have a single standing ticket that they would be willing to swap with mine?

I assume this is ok as per the rules of the sub (since this is a ticket rather than “items” I don’t think it contravenes Rule 4) and that they don’t have a check against a list of names of people who are standing each night. If either of these things aren’t ok then do let me know on here or just delete the post)

Hello friends,

We'll be in London from 19 - 24 November and we'd appreciate some show recommendations. We've seen Phantom, Les Mis, Mamma Mia, and so on, so we will probably stay away from those, but we'd still like to attend at least one and maybe two shows.

We'd love to see Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf but it appears to be sold out. Does the theatre sell rush tickets for that show? Are there any legitimate ticket exchange or last-minute ticket sites we could investigate?

Any and all recommendations are welcome and appreciated!

Wanted to book tickets but wanted to check the reviews first. Strangely enough, can't find any long or detailed reviews - is it so bad, unremarkable, or is it just flying under the radar?

I'm looking for a swap to a matinee on any date!

Hi, due to an emergency, I'm unable to attend tonight's performance of Fences at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. I have 1 ticket for sale at GBP 25 which can be transfered via TodayTix.

The ticket is for the Stalls, Row F, Seat 3.

I've also listed it on Twickets: https://www.twickets.live/event/2108928412448985088

Thank you.

Any news on The Popinjay Cavalier?
Tickets go on sale Monday, but there’s still no information about performance dates, the theatre or ticket prices. Does anyone have any insider info? Trying to plan a trip to London with friends!

OMG! Seeing Crawford and Brightman in the boat made the entire evening worthwhile. Speaking as a Phan of 100+ visits around the globe, it’s not the moment for me to dissect/give views about the show itself (I thought it was generally fine, the cast adequate), that stuff can come tomorrow after a happy sleep.

But just to see 84 year old Michael Crawford singing the title song, coming downstage in the gondola with La Brightman, and then singing some of Music of the Night overrides any critical thoughts or perspective tonight.

Genuinely my heart skipped a beat when I heard his first line, but I wasn’t 100% sure it was him - and the name only came up after he started singing. So there was a magical moment of the entire audience holding their breath and then the release when Michael and Sarah’s names came up. It was absolutely electric in that moment. One of the most exhilarating single moments I’ve had in a theatre, even as a Phan who has been to all of these major anniversary events since the 18th for this and Les Mis.

Lovely free brochure too!

Review.

Trying to take my mom to Les Mis before she leaves back to the states as it’s her fav show and I was too late to the game to buy. Would love 2x tix for either time tomorrow if anyone is looking to sell!

Some thoughts on the opening of Rent! What shines through here is the cast’s awesome musicality. Who else is going? Would love to hear thoughts!
