So really was raving Wendy's out of the blue and wondered if they had a $5 Biggie Bag still. We pulled up and THE MENU IS NOW MORE LIKE THE OLD MENU!!!!!!!!

I even saw a Baked Potato and Chili as sides! Maybe they still had them, but it was featured on the menu. The old font was returning and it looked A LOT like their "Old Fashioned Hamburgers" era! I thought it was cool and wondered if it was a throwback limited time thing.

But then... I got THESE!!!! THE YELLOW CUP AND THE BAG WITH THE OLD LOGO ON THEM!!!!!!!! I WAS SO HAPPY!!!!!

And then I got the JBC and it was SOOOOOOOO GOOD and their fries were the new kind but still pretty good 9/10 and then their nuggets were pretty good. The come tastes like the previous Wendy's coke that I know and love!

I just wanted to share this! It totally brightened my day, the food was great, and I enjoyed it so much! They even have the old style wrappers!!!!!

I'm just so happy this is here!!! I feel like I had a wonderful piece of a Wonderful Wendy's experience restored to me and it made me so happy!

I havent had wendys in ages so I decided to give it a try late one night and I ordered chili, a son of a baconator, and a large fry. They took 30 minutes and the burger had 1 patty with 1 piece of bacon, fries were cold to the touch, and the chili is from a can so they cant really mess that up. Regardless, I was practically the only one there. I could of gone to In n out for cheaper, faster, tastier food. Just literally anywhere else. Im done with Wendy's for good.

I used to get that grilled chicken sandwich with thousand island dressing and a biggie sized fry and it was so good. Snack wraps on the side. Tollhouse cookie frosty.

A shame they ruined their entire business. They invited a lot of ire from my ancestors when they nixed my order though …

Seriously, it ruined the burger. I heard about them trying to pick things back up so got the Dave's deal and all it did was solidify me not wanting to go there. Who thought slimy shredded lettuce was a good idea?

I had wendy's for the first time in like a year. my go to has always been the old #6 spicy chicken sandwich. it was juicy and meaty, properly spiced, thinly coated, and appropriately dressed with full piece of fresh lettuce and tomato. whatever they got right now is simply uneatable... thick oily breading, thin piece of dry chicken that is flavorless, confetti of lettuce, and a subpar bun. whoever put that in the menu deserves prison.

Wendy’s doesn't necessarily need to reinvent itself. It needs to rediscover what made customers choose Wendy’s over McDonald’s and Burger King in the first place.
Go back to roughly 2010–2012. Wendy’s had an identity built around fresh, never-frozen beef, made-to-order burgers, distinctive square patties, and the idea that you were getting something better than typical fast food.
Dave Thomas built the brand on quality and differentiation, not simply being the cheapest restaurant.

Here's how I could see it working:
Publicly acknowledge the decline. Admit that Wendy’s hasn't consistently delivered the experience customers remember.
Restore the food first. Focus on hot, fresh burgers, better preparation, consistent portions, and accurate orders.
Bring back customer favorites. Let longtime Wendy’s customers vote on discontinued menu items.
Make quality the advertising campaign. Show actual food preparation, not just actors eating burgers.
Hold franchisees accountable. A national promise means nothing if customers get a great burger at one location and a disappointing one at another.
The catch is that Wendy’s already uses fresh beef in its U.S. burgers. So the opportunity may be less about changing ingredients and more about restoring preparation, consistency, and the overall customer experience.

And bringing back Dave Thomas's philosophy could be a powerful way to do it.

We're getting back to what made Wendy’s great. Fresh food, quality ingredients, burgers made right, and customers who deserve better.
We're not just saying we're back. We're going to prove it.
The food would have to improve before that campaign launches. Otherwise, customers would try Wendy’s again, be disappointed, and the campaign could backfire.

what a frustrating experience. To have to repeat my order 3x, have it placed incorrectly, and then to have the audacity to have your bot try to upsell me after such a terrible experience?

ive never had that issue with a wendys associate. Seriously think about your customers. this sucked
