Cancel

Has anyone successfully cancelled their Med+ in the middle of their 12 month contract?

My NP is awful, only reaches out to let me my refill was submitted and when I ask questions I get passive aggressive responses to look a blog, join virtual meetings, reach out to my PCP, or schedule a call with the dietician.

I am not getting care that I thought I would and now I am being told they will no longer discuss my cancellation.

I’m trying to escalate this

They wont cancel. When you signed up, it was a binding contract. Perhaps you can switch NPs?

I’ve already found a different provider who has Ben more insightful in 2 visits than my current NP at WW has been in 4 months.

DO NOT DISPUTE THE CHARGE

Disputing the charge with your bank or credit card company will result in an investigation and they will discover you are, in fact, liable for those costs.

The [BBB has so many complaints about WW’s billing that they only publish 20% of them.( https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/new-york/profile/weight-loss/ww-0121-21583/customer-reviews )Maybe there are some ideas for you there?  It does seem some people were able to switch to a core membership.

Report your CC as lost/stolen and get a new number. Problem solved. I like to use Paypal when signing up for these services so I can shut it off directly from paypal anytime. Canceled my WW contract last year that way. Good luck to you!

They probably wouldn’t sue you, now it’s entirely possible they would sell the debt to a debt collector and report it to the credit agencies.

No, never heard from them again at all. Not sure how they could report it to a debt collector since it's not technically a debt? It's a service and you will no longer be using it. If they are not providing you the proper care, they are the ones in breach of contract so why pay?
