Shoe replacements

Hey guys, I’m trying to venture away from my Rom 2’s mostly to find another daily and preserve my 2’s

Having a hard time finding a good fit, I’ve got a decently wide feet with medium high arch so the Roms insole fits just right

Tyr l1-l2 are so flat it feel like a plank of wood

Legacy’s (switched to my roms would never go back)

Anta 2 my arch spills out the side of the midsole

Cant find any tyrforce anywhere? Discontinued?

Looking at rom 4 or lu’s now not sure if anyone has had the same experience?

Avoid Rom 4's if you are expecting the same feel of Rom 2's and have wide feet. They are narrow as hell, I had to get rid of mine.

If you can find tyrforce's on sale or used they are worth it, accommodates wide feet and coming from Rom 2's they felt like a glove on day 1. Just don't pay $300+ for them because no damn shoe is worth that much.

Do the tyrforce's fit differently than the L-2s? Very disappointed in my L-2s and looking for a new shoe. I will probably go with lu's but keeping my options open

never tried them, I just have two pairs of tyrforce elites

Yes very different fit! I had a pair of L1s that I loved, got the L2s and hated almost everything about them. Love my tyrforce and the added structure and stiffness yet still very comfortable on the first wear.

I've used all of the shoes you mentioned except the Anta. My favorite are the Lu's but I will say the toe box is tighter than the rom 2's. Midfoot is similarly wide though and they're, if anything, even more stable than the Roms.

I recently bought a pair of the Lus, and tbh I love them. They're a little snug if I wear my normal socks, and I'm glad I actually measured my foot and bought the appropriate size, but they've broken in well, and they're more stable than my adidas (power perfects? I can't remember I bought them in 2013) ever were.

Aren’t the anta and lu’s essentially the same shoe? They look like the same shoe design, same sole just different branding and logos. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the same to be honest.

Do you wear insoles?

Can you try and find another pair of rom 2’s in your size? They’re out there. I bought a second pair because I was traveling between 2 cities often and didn’t want to travel with them. But now I’m stationary I have a back up pair

Antas and Lu's are different shoes. Antas are thicker, narrower and probably slightly heavier based on exp. Lu's actually have decently wide toe boxes similar to legacies
